Most of NCSX's pre-order business is done through shopncsx.com, not just ncsx.com. The listings for pre-orders on shopncsx.com are much more organized and up to date.

they have two stores. ncsxshop.com, and shopncsx.com. the one is their pre-order store. :)

Hmm, now that is interesting. My first order with them was back when they modded PS1, and I never knew that. Thanks for the tip.

hi everybody.

i was relucant to buy LE as it "only" had an extra overpriced CD. i jut read though that the LE edition will have DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu v1.51 DLC card.

i would like to know:

- is it confirmed only LE ed will have this? i remember the normal versions of CAVE games had some cards shipped with them too.
- most importantly- will i be able to use it on european (or just non-japanese) account? If anybody has experience with previous DLC cards, please clarify.

You can always use the DLC with the specific account it was redeemed on any (proper region) Xbox, and any account when using the Xbox it was redeemed on.

The v1.51 DLC card comes with ALL first prints, not just the LE.

Yes, and it was still true; the first batches to roll out of the assembly line had the DLC card. The second printing (which actually had a different catalog number on the binding) lacked them. The big issue being, Play-Asia apparently didn't get very many of the first printing, if any.

Slightly dumb question, but if I buy a DFK theme, will it be usable on all the accounts on my 360? Or just the account that bought it? I have a Japanese account on my 360, but I use my standard US account for nearly everything and have it as the default. Don't wanna waste money on the theme if it won't even be visible 90% of the time on my 360.

It can be used by any account on the Xbox that it was purchased on.

Please can anyone explain what version of the game the 1.51 DLC is and what will be included on the disc. I am really confused.

Is 1.51 something to really have or is it only for the most dedicated players.

Yeah but it seems that the game on the disc is version 1.5 and the DLC is 1.51 so probably only some minor changes. IIRC Mushi Futari came with the 1.01 DLC which was very different to the 1.5 version on the disk.

I want to know the changes between 1.5 and 1.51 :)

Well I'd love to tell you but unfortunately EOJ kill Cave-STG where all the information I knew about 1.51 was stored. I can tell you it was available for play at the Cave event in August.

To start with: Hyper Counter no longer has a dedicated button; you now have to hit bomb (a la DOJ). I can't see this working well, especially in Power Style where now you have to blow a Hyper just to switch shot modes D:

From what I remember of EOJ's post: hypers last for less time, if you use them too much the rank shoots up so much you get hit by patterns from the second loop, auto-bombing uses up all your bombs but there's some unknown mechanism to get some bombs back. There may be other tweaks like that I can't remember or that weren't noticed at the event, of course.

I preordered the SE, which is something I've never intended to do for any game prior, specifically for the 1.51 DLC. I'm not too big on Power style atm (I'll still have 1.5 for that one anyway), so the rest of the additions are totally up my valley, and I can see it getting more play time compared to 1.5 with Bomb and Strong.

I finally took the plunge and ordered it today (ofcourse I was going to order it eventually), from ncsx since the exchange rate is so low that amiami seems about the same price when considering EMS shipping. I ordered the SE since last time I ordered the LE for DSIIX from AmiAmi have you, I did not receive the card which was the only reason I did so, thinking that the LE would surely have the dlc content bundled with it. I really hope I get the dlc this time. Didn't get it for Futari or DSIIX although had pre-ordered those prior to release... Fingers crossed for 1.51. Can't wait to get this game.

You ordered an LE and didn't get a DLC card? Can you read off the catalog number on the spine of the case? When Futari's SE went to a non-DLC printing, they changed the number.

I'll def check tonight StarCreator! All I have is the LE DSIIX game with case now w/out the music cd and LE cardboard box but will check. Futari SE on the other hand although pre-ordered from NCSX, it was a couple days before release, so that was kind of my fault due to to the delay aka should have preordered earlier. Hopefully did not make the same mistake this time with DFK this time around...

LE's should always have the DLC card. I didn't think they even got second printings. Perhaps it got lost in packaging/transit? Every copy I've seen has had the DLC card taped to the front of it.

And will Cave allow DDP-DFK 1.5 PCB owners the chance to upgrade to version 1.51 PCB variant (or was that just another one of those exclusive Cave event PCBs only -- similar to the much-desired DDP Campaign Version PCB)? Guess we'll just have to be content with our plain-vanilla DDP PCBs for now. Cave has a pair of special DDP & DDP-DFK PCBs that the public can't buy/upgrade outright -- definitely "aces" up their sleeves alrighty.

30/40 from Famitsu. For reference, Galuda II had the same score. I think Daioujou had 33 or 34.
