Hey gang, been a minute. 
Been having a shmup renaissance and decided to post some PBs. Here are a bunch:
tekros - 564,000 - Focke-Wolf Ta152 - 1-6 - MAME
tekros - 553,800 - F5U Flying Pancake - 1-5 - MAME
tekros - 550,500 - Ki84 Hayate - 1-6 - MAME
tekros - 541,200 - P-38 Lightning - 1-5 - MAME
tekros - 470,400 - DH98 Mosquito - 1-5 - MAME
Also, I was on pace just now to smash my record with Hayate, but then I died for the first time and immediately got a game over!
Somehow, the game started loading with zero extra lives. I've tried checking the dip switches / settings, doing a hard reset, and even re-downloading the game, but nothing is getting my 3 lives back. All other games are fine. Has anyone ever encountered this?
UPDATE: I figured it out. I had to go into the game settings (not MAME settings) and set lives back to 3. No idea how that happened, so bizarre.
