2 days ago after 3 days of trying, I finally found an unused serial on the web and a working crack and ISOs and bypass and everything and I actually got C&C generals:zero hour to work ONLINE....and it made me smile.

EDIT:just for the record, do you know how hard it is to get an EA game to work without buying it?

No, you do not know how hard it is to get an EA game to work without buying it.

Going.
I hope you got tickets, dude. Otherwise you might take it a little hard when I tell you that Coachella 2012 is officially sold out. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner, to be honest.

Personally, I'm not sweating over it. I'll see ATDI and Refused in concert eventually. It wouldn't make any sense for them to just peek their heads out of both of their coffins and not actually get out of them and do the zombie walk for a few years.

EDIT: Atari Teenage Riot is great, too.

Troum and Nadja are giving a joint live gig in April. Best news since the Death in June concert half a year back as far as music events here go.

What a stupid ending. why did they show that geezer with the tache waking from his nightmare at the end of the film. It should of just ended with him driving away from that fat guy who got bummed.

Okay, this didn't make me smile so much as wince in disgust and resignation, but I'll feel a bit better after I hit "post!"

Yeah. Generally the only thing that site seems to put serious effort into are character bios, and he even screwed that up. Impossibly esoteric little details like "hit one enemy with a charge attack and you kill the lot" and "you can block anything" never stood a chance. Nothing says "hardcore" like ignorance of a game's most basic principles.

That entire article is just plain awful. It just waves a big flag saying "I can't play the game and I haven't really tried."

Unlike LOTS of games with high price points that turn out to be lacklustre, Taromaru is actually an fantastic exception.

Someone needs to stop that site before it fucks up people's perceptions of classic gaming across the board.

That's disappointing considering HG101 is usually spot-on when it comes to coverage. Maybe Kurt is slipping a little bit.

Finding out Scrap Brain Zone's theme is the Blade Runner credits theme remixed put a weird smile on my face, to stay on topic.
Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

Just went and had a listen to the MD and GG versions. Seems like a real hokey comparison to me. Similar tempo chords and that's about it.

Edit: ok no, maybe there is something in this...

JP Megadrive clamshell cases. ^_______^ Just got a nice big bunch of minty ones (even had games and papers inside ) I'd forgotten how lovely they were after years of generic CD/DVD packaging. Much cuter than the bulkier Genesis equivalents too.

fuck smiling, I just gotta boner. I've heard of ~70% of the lineup at Coachella and The Vaccines deserve bigger letters than that!

User Video Disease printed them. I tie dyed it myself a couple weeks ago.
I think they sold out and are making a newer design. I think this is it:

Aha, that's cool. I think I like the old design better though; it's more simplistic.

Realizing that the end credits music for Hobo with a Shotgun is "Run With Us", the end credits music of The Raccoons. It was a weird flood of childhood nostalgia and it sounded like heaven. And I smiled. Hooray for 1980s Canadian cartoons!
