Good to meet you too Charlie, and thanks very much for offering to lend some of your boards to Casino - it'll be nice to have something decent that isn't Cave for once!

Cheers spadgy :P

That game is impossible to find - and the odd time I've seen it it's been over £40!!! Mustn't let it impact on my Deathsmiles practice for that comp...

Also, where's illyrian?

No - Dead Island, rarer than hen's teeth

I played the Wii version of the first Dead Rising and it drove me nuts. I'll give Dead rising 2 a go though.

Thanks again so much for that record Charlie. So generous of you.

Anyway - I'll be in tomorrow (Tuesday). CHI - you'll be in then I know; but is it a good day for an install? It's kind of pot luck when the Engineer is in, but as long as you make it before 8pm, most times he's around.

Going to London 7th to 10th november. Is there anywhere else other than Casino these days? Trocs gone and i never bothered tracking down any of the others cos i like joystick and button games more than lightguns and racers. If the was more pinball about i'd love to know.

A lot of the good stuff from the Troc has ended up in the various Family Leisure owned arcades along Wardour Street, especially Las Vegas:

And Neith, sorry if we missed you yesterday - most of us arrived pretty late in the evening.

Yeah - sorry neith! It's a shame you weren't about last night. We had a really good laugh!

On the subject of The Troc, did anybody hear if the Initial D 4 and Air Assualt cabs ended up somewhere else public?

One for JDE: Here's that place where you can find those 'Arcade Ambience' sound files. Just check their 'downloads' section (it's not a dodgy site; all above board and legal to download and that).

not sure whether to bring the garegga now. i tested it on my new supergun this morning and all i could get was garbled graphics.(i cant remember if i tested it on this new supergun since i have moved) the garegga does have a slightly dodgy jamma key where some operator has shaved it down to make it fit a harness so that could be the reason(i've had trouble with it before but usually i can get it working but this morning i had no joy) it did work on the cabs last time i definitely tested it :x
do you reckon i should bring it to test if it works on the casino cabs??
either way i'll be in at the usual ish time probbly from 5.30 today and may be in for a couple of credits during the day.

I'm coming tonight (95% sure).

@Charlie Chong: Shame to hear about the Garrega board. Though I'm no expert, I've heard of superguns being temperamental, so it could well still work in the Casino! Though testing it in a cab is all dependent on whether or not the engineer is handy...

Greetings gents.

IRL stuff kicked me in the balls a lot recently hence me not being around.
Couple of things,

I'm off work next wednesday so I'll be down on tuesday night till later than normal, was wondering if people are gonna be around like normal? Especially theo, I need to get your game back to you.

Also I'll be at comic-con on saturday to try DDP Rez and Street Fighter x Tekken if anyone else is coming that would be cool.

What the hell man, you get me all excited about the chance to impress underage cosplayers with my shmup skillz and now this

@Illyrian
Most people should be there Tuesday, it'll be good to have you down again. I forgot about the game, you could probably have convinced me you didn't have it and stolen it but I'm onto you now.

A ticket for saturday, 9am-6pm is only £16, which isn't too bad.

I'll be there from 9am onwards, Theo you should just get a ticket and be my wingman as I hunt wild landwhales!

Bummer, I was looking forward to that - never been to one of those things before.

Anyhow, might drop by casino tomorrow after work, around 6.

Your post there makes it look like you reckon it's tomorrow.

I don't want to post this in the main youtube thread because it's so cack. But seeing as Progear is the only game in Casino I actually play it seemed appropriate. lol choke.

Also, I may make an appearance on the 1st or 3rd with my DFK board. CHI says you guys want it.
I haven't played it since I was bad so the scores are still pathetic, make sure you beat them fast.

I'll be down tomorrow evening as well, from around 5PM onwards, and it'll be good to see you again! I'm going to Comic Con on Saturday the 29th too, mainly looking forward to playing Asura's Wrath and Ninja Gaiden 3.

And Taylor, it'd be awesome if we could borrow your DFK board, I've mainly been playing the port this week and it'd be great to have the real deal in Casino.

Hey there. Sorry for derailing the thread, but there's something I'd like to ask.

When I went to the Casino Arcade, I noticed a bookstore right next to it. I thought it was a regular bookstore so I went in, but the shelves were filled with books about Geonetics (Geonetics? Heuronetics? Something like that, can't recall the name). Some girl asked me if I was interested in something, I told her I was just looking around and I had no idea what those books were about. She then asks me to go with her to a room in the back and show me a 5-minute video about it. The whole thing sounded fishy so I told her I wasn't interested. She kept insisting and I left in a hurry.

Does anyone know wtf is that bookstore about? It almost looked like some sort of scam.
