Still playing lots of Futari, mostly BL orig still but starting to practice some BL maniac. I just downloaded Omega 5 last night on XBLA. Seems pretty fun so far, not sure how long it'll last though. Also splitting some time between some doujins: Eden's Aegis, Patriot Dark, and just saw XOP Black for the first time a couple days ago so I'm giving it a go, too.

Dogyuun, I think a 2-all is on its way. The rank is quite easy to control, making the second loop a lot easier than I orginaly thought. It's mostly a question of endurance at this point.

Raiden IV still... I'm not gonna just set this one aside and re-learn a bunch of "things" later on, I have to finish my job, my duty (dag nabbit) to 2-ALL Arcade and X360 mode. It's getting a little tiresome, I must admit. But I know I'll nail it if I just keep playing an hour or say every other day, then a couple longer sessions somewhere, setting the records.

Nice going! Hoping to give it a go myself in the not so far away future.

Ketsui X and Dodonpachi DOJ (PS2). I was starting to get a little frustrated at the wall I've hit with Ketsui, and needed to bash my head against DOJ for a while.

TRUXTON for Sega Genesis, but played on my FC3. What a most triumphant shmup. I'm finding my roots everyday with this new system playing Axelay, Space Megaforce and Thunderforce 2. I'm also getting a little Guardian Legend on the side...dam, I don't remember this game being that hard.

How does BL compare to original? I'm considering picking this up soon, but I have a feeling the difficulty will be over my head. I can still only barely 1cc Futari BL, if that gives you any idea of my skill level Still, looks like fun, so I'll probably get it soon anyway.

If not playing for score BL is quite a bit easier. Black Labels bullets don't directly hit, you can sorta let them roll off you for a fraction of a second when you move sideways. The bullets turn into points when you kill an enemy so that is a bit easier too.

Playing batrider and getting progressively worse, within the first hour I was getting to the last level on normal course, and now I hardly get to the 4th. woo

Ketsui and Mushihimesama Futari, with some Super Street Fighter 4 as a non-shooty diversion. Going to shelve Espgaluda 2 until I can find more time and motivation for it, as it's a very time-intensive game.

Mushihimesama Futari original mode, stage 3 is really hard. If I can get past it, I can get to the midboss of stage 4, but I've never gotten past stage 3 with more than 2 bombs and 0 lives.

I'm replaying Titan Attacks from Puppy Games on my Mac right now, killing time until the indie RPG "Eschalon: Book II" is released for Mac this coming Wednesday. I just finished playing a beta of the sequel, "Revenge of the Titans", so I had an urge to go back and replay the first one. I think Titan Attacks is probably the best Space Invaders tribute - ever!

still playing DDP, im working on getting a full chain on stage 1-2, Im nearly there i just need to work on the transistion between the tank mid boss and the next wave of airbourne popcorn.

Ive been trying to 1cc the 1st loop of DDP for about a month now and even though i know i could beat it if i totally ignored scoring and used my bombs wisely plus use save state practice. When im starting a new ddp session this is what im telling myself anyway. But as soon as the mothership spits my ship out and the anoucer say GO! All displine goes out of the window and i cant stop trying to chain and even though i suck most at the time both at cahining and staying alive.

(Shakes fists) Damn you cave for making a game so maddingly addictive and difficult to play for score, With the speed im making progress ill be an old man by the time ive finished with it

^ This is exactly how DDP plays me.
I'm still traumatized to this day from the last sessions I had with the game, and I've been mentalizing how I'm going to deal with it in the near future.
