i have the xm29.....got rid of all my old crt monitors a few years ago, and gave away my old crt TV when i moved.....

really....if you like to play older consoles or stuff that outputs low-res signals/rgb, you owe it to yourself to pick up a suitable CRT....

PVM's are fairly common...you see them come up fairly often on craigslist and the like....

they arent that big

Yeah and don't forget that Espgafutari II.5s additional arrange/novice modes are rather easy.
I was figuring it was going to get a bit of a harsh review due to everyone being spoiled by the last 3 Cave releases extras and features.

I haven't played this, but there's no freaking way this game is a 5 or 6.

Xbox 360 Monthly seems more fair. Same score it gave Futari.

That being said, I find it kind of weird how the Japanese mags underrates these shmups, while sites like NTSC-UK, Edge, and whatnot, are more understanding of the genre, and where to rate these games. I thought the Japanese appreciated shmups more....

However, I could really be changing my tune when DS comes out, and a bunch of bonehead reviewers give it low scores.

So, can anyone tell me if Play Asia sends new games away on the day of their release or do they send them away a couple of days before so that you get it roughly on/ soon after release day?

Yeah ive played it , i own the PCB , i havnt played it for a couple of years though but having it on 360 will give me the option to practice stage 5 "alot"

Yes, since the game probably deserves a 8-10 look at it this way

-1 point for not having lolis
-1 point for being vomit inducing difficult
-1 point for not being modernized

Now if you ask me all those negatives are really strengths, thus lower mainstream Japanese review is better. :mrgreen:
