Im still playing DDP myself i should really be concentrating on 1ccing the first loop but i cant stop trying to chain or finding those bees. Im not having much luck with chaining but i am using C-S. I might get more into chaining if i swop to the A-L.

If chaining doesnt grow on me im gonna kinda fucked for playng cave games for score. Is there any cave game that doesnt use chaining?

I'm currently playing Mushihimesama Futari on the 360. The 1.5 Original, 1.5 Ultra, and Black Label Original scoring systems do not involve chaining at all (which may be why I'm enjoying them so much). Although I guess to some people point-blanking is more annoying than chaining.

Since I got some Space Yen recently, I made it a point to pull down any of the missing shmup-related DLC for the games I have.

This included the Easter Island stage in Otomedius... which at the higher difficulties is straight-up ridiculous! Massive, spinning laser Moais all over the fucking place! Lucino and Nowa for nZero's red-headed stepchild, Mamoru-kun (you know, I never realized until now just how powerful Fururu's shot is). And DS MBL ver 1.1 with it's ludicrous retardo-scoring (and broken achievements).

thought i would give sucking at chaining in ddp to try out a few other mame games. One of those was Psikyo's Senguko aces, simple but allot of fun and is a good contrst to DDP, plus i always wanted to fly a X-wing in a shmup

Pretty fun game. Incredibly weird, though. (Although weirder games exist, I am fully aware.) I basically got myself a bunch of new games yesterday. Also, on the 360, some Raystorm HD. Which I still am bad at.

I have been playing Recca Summer Challenge 92 and can not seem to get over 1,200,000 pts...still not beating the third board after it goes in reverse....
I'm not giving up that game is a great shooter...you jus thave to remember that the charge in front of your ship absorbs bullets!

Got a new computer, so I can play shmups again! I don't yet have the cable to hook up to my tateable screen, so I'm focusing on Giga Wing at the moment, using lots of savestate practicing.

Still playing DDP on mame, after playing for 1 to 2 weeks of sucking at chaining and collecting as many bees as possible im finally able to chain stage 1 up to the midboss plus collect all 13 bees (181hit C-S).

I might be able to start working on gettin a 1st loop 1cc now my little addiction for chaining and collecting all 13 bees has been somewhat siated, plus getting a full chain and all 13 bees in stage 2 looks impossible.

(shakes fists at Cave for making a shmup so maddingly hard but addictive)

I am more focused on surviving DDP, not chaining as of late. Mostly because I'm craptastic at DDP. I'm nearly able to get through level 1 without dying, at least? Hahahahaha... har..... derp. :B

I just have to be in the right place at the right time... On another note, I'm worse at Progear. I'm going to attempt playing some Raystorm HD, now.

Raiden IV still... I'm not gonna just set this one aside and re-learn a bunch of "things" later on, I have to finish my job, my duty (dag nabbit) to 2-ALL Arcade and X360 mode. It's getting a little tiresome, I must admit. But I know I'll nail it if I just keep playing an hour or say every other day, then a couple longer sessions somewhere, setting the records. After Raiden IV, I'm likely to go back to rocking Futari and possibly some Galuda II. Such goodness!
