I really think Progear and Esprade are Cave's most underappreciated titles. Joker Jun FTW.

New pick up.:)
This korean version has realy fast bullets in contrast to the jp version ´same same same´.
The screen has a bit smudging. Not sure if this is a voltage issue. You can see this on the toaplan logo.
Anyhow, a great fun.

A couple new boards I got out of trades:

Got this in a local trade with PC Engine Fan X (again) yesterday. Pretty cool to have an (almost) complete kit, but its all about the game. I love Gunbird. The marquee is gorgeous though, I love the color and character art.

and then I got this in the mail today:

This game is

Both are OTT difficult and it's not a fun game. Do what I did and get rid of both of them quicktime.

Kyuukyoku Tiger II is actually pretty easy, as evidenced by the large number of ALLs in the scoreboard here. I could get to the last stage after a couple of hours of play, and that definitely means it's easy! I agree that it's a bit of a crap game though.

I didn't persevere with it enough, but yeah, I really dislike it for some reason.

Thanks for all the feedback on Kyuukyoku Tiger II. I never played the Saturn version, so can't compare. As for quality of the F3 cart, music and spite work is awesome, so I hope that holds me through the difficulty curve.

FWIW, I did not particularly care for Gekirindan (and sold that cart). Maybe I needed to spend more time with it as well?

Hmm, I think Gekirindan is pretty great actually. Really keeps the Toaplan spirit alive much more than Kyukoku Tiger II imo, and has very nice graphics and sound to boot. It's also pretty accessible. If I were you I'd get Gekirindan back and ditch Kyuukyoku Tiger II, lol.
