Fantastic! Been after one of these for a very long time and I'm finally in the position to pull the trigger. Thanks superg!

Just a quick question... when should we be expecting delivery?

Purchased! Thanks for the heads up. I second the request for the change log too. I’m curious to see what the changes are.

Thanks for your great work.

DONE, orders placed for gscartsw_lite and gcompsw.

Is it possible to ship together even though the orders are separate?

I use USPS medium flat rate boxes, there will be two power supplies and it won't fit.

Ordered a lite. :D

I’ve been using multiple crappy scart switchers on my 2 bang and olufsen crts for years. So pleased to be getting a high quality solution to my needs.

Hi there!!

I'm very interested in that wonderfull and clever piece of hardware and as you will ship this from the US and I do not want to pay 30% extra fees on import as I live in France   :P, I have two questions :

What method do you use for international shipping, private carrier like UPS, FedEx, etc, or just plain normal with maybee tracking number :?:

If you just use private carrier like those mentioned above, could it possible that you declare the value of the product no more than 25$ (that to make sure there will be no extre import fees as they begin for up to 30$ if I recall correctly) :?:

Thanks in advance for your reply about that :!:

And whatever happened, thanks a lot for your work on this nasty little thing :!: :!:
In love with Shmups since Knightmare and Nemesis/Gradius 2 on MSX. :D
I bought a PSTwo just for Gradius V.

May the PowerUp be with you!!!! 8)

Thanks for the reply superg. When you say work on it, do you mean a new iteration of the gscarsw, a hardware addon or a firmware upgrade for the existing lite? I'm not sure if the lite is firmware upgradable, but I did see it mentioned on the page for the gcompsw.
Green is not routed to Altera thus it's impossible to do it with mere firmware upgrade.
I have a breakout cable PCB designed which converts SoG to proper RGBS (including sync removal from Green).

That's great that you plan on working on that in 2018.

I prefer to keep my consoles as stock as much as possible.

Sorry, I don't do that, I usually declare the value as $100. In the unlikely event of lost package that's the maximum what I get from USPS.

OK, thanks for your reply.

Well I guess 100$ declared is good, or at least it's better than nothing!! :D

Is it automaticaly done or should I remind you about that when placing order?

I see now in your reply and on your site you're using USPS, I think it will be ok... :P

Yes I ship to paypal address. if you have several addresses, paypal provides a way to choose where to ship before you pay.

Been looking to buy for over a year, and finally did! Are you still not doing combined shipping? I saw the post months ago but didn't know if that was still your policy.

Excited!

I asked last week, it's still his policy.

Also there is no combined shipping now, you have to make separate orders if you need more than one unit.
It will simplify everything for me and in particular for international shipping it's cheaper to ship two separate 2lb boxes than one 4lb box.

Any idea if the gcompsw can switch using just the RF signal RCA cable used with early Atari’s? I’m assuming the sync isn’t quite what’s expected or that the switch output might modify an rf signal in unfavorable ways.

Trying to figure out if there’s any automatic switching I can do for the really old consoles.

Superg, I was wondering how often do new batches of the scart swtiches become available? I'd like to get one, but I don't think I'll have enough to buy one before the current batch is sold out

RF will not work, it's using modulation to pass the signal, it would be better to mod Atari.

SuperG, I ordered my switches (both gcompsw and gscartsw). I was curious to know if shipments begin only after all objects are sold or if you start to ship before.
To be clear, if you start to ship only when entire batch ends or if, for example, yesterday orders will be shipped boh, this friday (just to make an example).

SCART has no designated PIN for RF either, so your TV even wouldn't be able to use the signal if gscartsw supported it. I propose you try out an RF demodulator that produces composite. However I haven't tried this by myself so I don't know about quality or compatibility.

Exactly the plan. I was trying to hook up multiple consoles to 1 RF demodulator :)
