DoDonPachi and DOJ. Pathetic DDP run, died somewhere in the middle of level 3 while I was doing fine, it was like I'm cruisin' along, and then BAM! BAM! my last 2 ships were gone in a flash. I suck at DOJ, died constantly at the level 2 boss.

I 1cc'd Salamander and Salamander 2... I would like to tackle the loops for these games some day.

Then some of the Gradius games a little bit on the PSP recently... have Gradius IV set to the hardest difficulty for the hell of it.

But mostly stickin' to Mushi-Futari. Gonna crank a bit more out of my original mode score with Palm, then get to know the other game modes some more. Original mode is really great, been having a hell of a time, (though a tad frustrating at times.)

Got GW Generations in the mail today, so I gave that a shot. Watching that score go up is just hilarious. I also finally popped in XII Stag. Not sure if I dig the side-shot thing or not, but for what I paid for it, I'm not complaining.

Past month or so I've been mostly focussed on DOJ-BLEX - can finally All-clear EX mode (pretty easy up until the very last bullet pattern). Black Label (Very Hard difficulty) gets most of my attention, usually takes 2 or 3 credits for me to All-clear (I don't chain, just play for survival)

Tonight I'm giving ESPGaluda some plays, somehow I managed to get to the 4th level in Arrange mode (which to this day is probably the most intense Cave experience imho)

Going to give Ibara PS2 a few credits, maybe try it with colored bullets because the default ones do indeed make my head spin.

DonPachi [died really stupidly, kept getting sniped], DOJ [I just suck at this, but feh], and Dangun [and I gave up almost immediately from getting nailed from a really easy pattern]. Oh and Progear, which I did awesome [to my standards, got to level 3 with 2 ships left, but lost them both really stupidly...].

And now some Cho Ren Sha. Was doing absolutely amazing, and then for no apparent reason, I started screwing up right before Level 2's boss, and then proceeding to lose in a horrible fashion.
Also, changing the compatibility mode to 98/ME fixed my stuttery sound problems! Yay!

Regarding Battle Bakraid, I am close to 1cc'ing it but I just need more practice. Btw I made a video of me showing HOW i practice last boss.
Basically I made a sense with damn high rank, 2 lives and merely 1,5 bombs

I need a PS/2 port on my laptop -- I have a spare keyboard, but my laptop is USB only.

Oh, and playing Mystic Square. I love it, but it only gets challenging around the bosses. Granted, every Touhou bar 12 has been like that.

You're using the keyboard? Gross. I guess it's better than nothing. I used to play a mean round of Warning Forever using the keyboard. If I were you I'd throw $10 on a cheap USB controller from WalMart. I had an old logitech PS2-style one with a heavenly Dpad before it stopped working. The sticks on it were hilarious though. They had square gates.

Now I am playing Gynoug! Either this game is easier than I remember, or my shooting skills have improved a lot.

Hit the second half of Gun.Smoke. I love this game's intuitive strafing so much. You don't dodge stray bullets so much as sidestep and blast enemies firing straight at you (several dozen times a minute). It certainly is rewarding to dish out the fabled "Old West justice" with three dedicated fire buttons via my USB arcade stick. - Homicidal Cowboy BIL X! ^_~
