Wanted to revisit all of a sudden. Fuckin slaps all neurotic-like.

Per channel thumbnail, I figured this was either a cute artschool chick enjoying her alter ego, or a bloke with a cattle prod and a square mile of tarp. Having confirmed the former - fun tune! Crackin' reggaeton beat. NSFW

There's a charm to its oddly-oragnized tracker format too, like paging through the Sound Test of a Battle Gregor (Amiga) (1997) (Unlicensed).adf that tragically never was; intro track, stage track, stage track, boss loop. WTB!
Holy fuck, there's a name! Image Someone posted his Bejeweled 3 OST here once, and afterwards I knew never to doubt him or things named BUTTERFLIES MODE Image

 the Eurovision Song Contest 2024...

I understand why americans (or anyone else outside of Europe) see europeans as weirdos...especially when it comes to music...
sometimes it seems we like to feed stereotypes lol

AT LAST, I figured out what the super catchy yamaha synth bassline squatting in my head was from.

Y'know, only one of the most influential pieces of 80s nerd media out there.

Also featured on the Iridion 3D title screen; oh you, Shin'en!

Found this dude when searching for R4 mixes: brings just the precise amount of heat, precision and soul to everything he touches.

Outstanding performance of a standout track! Really illustrates the song's character, breezy yet full of rooftop-scampering joie de vivre. There's an instant sub.

Man, that whole scene comes together perfectly. I always leave the poor bugger relaxing in his deckchair alone, at the start; I like to think he's enjoying the same BGM on his walkman. I was so happy to see HIYA's name alongside Akio and Meeher's for Black Finger Jet. His BGM is integral to those Nazca classics' character.

Good vibes in that inimitable OutRun way, but a bit of heat to match the action.

As for me, making innumerable careless mistakes early in F/A runs has left me dead sick of the opening couple of tracks, so now whenever I boot it in Hi Score Modo I'm bumping Kuwaiti Airspace Speak & Spell.

Went last night to see Dustin Wong play. If you like chill, sometimes erratic electronic music with a lot of vaguely tropical touches that occasionally coalesces into grooves and beats, this is for you!

"Dark yoga" sounds like a Dhalsim palette swap or a way to do your ankle before breakfast.
But rainbows and darkness? They're always one, sister.

Digging Lamentation, too - thanks for the introduction!

Listening to original LP pressing of Jarre's best album, Zoolook, and absolutely loving it. Previously I had only heard the remastered version from CD / Spotify (which I liked so much that I had to check this out)

This has been one of my fave dm records since it came out. V oppressive atmosphere and a warmth and depth to the production that's missing from a lot of modern stuff.

Saint Jhn - "Trap" (Rompasso Remix)

Alok, Tazi, Samuele Sartini feat. Amanda Wilson & York – Seek Love (On the Beach)

Olive - You're Not Alone

Recent rerelease of Future Sound of Melbourne's early singles from around 1992. This is good early techno, looking quite forward to happy hardcore.

BUMP posted a thing for their new album that happens to be a super super tiny digest version of the show I went to in April. The limited edition comes with the full thing on BD and you damn well better believe that I preordered it the moment I got home from that show. Can't wait to see Fuji-kun fuck up his harmonica solo in 東京賛歌 again lol

Those few moments of flyby here are precious, as they've only played it live 7 times. Technically this isn't even flyby but a new, unreleased combination of voyager and flyby that has the extremely creative title voyager, flyby. I've always really loved voyager and especially flyby even though there is something exquisitely sad about a space satellite abandoned in orbit desperately waiting forever for a signal that it knows will never come.

So you know the band Train? The guys behind the "Hey Soul Sister" song. They suck ass. One of the lamest bands ever.

But...

I guess they got tired of being called losers all the time and decided the best thing they could do to try to gain some cred was to do a full cover album of Led Zeppelin II. And they fucking crushed it, the vocals especially.

I don't really understand creating a 1:1 sonically identical cover album of one of the most famous albums ever made, or what the point was. But it exists.
