He's clearly trolling, the character is definitely world-wide.

Sister
lol
Speaking of this, I noticed that females in the FGC are always incredibly anal about dumb shit like character design for some reason.

Anyway, CS Extend is coming out tomorrow. Is this a good starting point to the series or should I just save the dosh for CP?

pirate it or get it when it's 10 bucks or less, i guess it's a decent starting point but bbcp is way better than extend, i'm still on the edge about getting this, for one i want to support this kind of ports, but not having the latest iteration of the game is an insult to the pc market and the fans

It's a necessity to prevent bootleg arcade cabinets from springing up all over Hong Kong overnight.

USF4 was out about one month after the console release, which was like one month after the arcade release (without decapre)

Hong Kong barely has any pirate anything since about 2002, and sadly barely any arcades for bootlegs to be springing up in either. It's not 1993 anymore.

Do you think about the things you say before typing them or is thinking an afterthought you leave to others to facilitate on your behalf?

More Ono/Harada silliness - not as novel as the first time around, but it does feature the two of them inhaling helium and talking in chipmunk voices.

Get fucked Arc Sys. If I were starved to play a fighting game on Steam I'd rather grab KOF '98 UM FE.

I don't know much about doujin fighter Dynamite Bomb, but it appears playism is putting out a localized version.

It's made in Enterbrain's Fighter Maker, so you can safely ignore it. Everything made with FM has the same uniform low-quality feel, even when it has luxurious graphics like Vanguard Princess.

You're right, I goofed. It was delayed at the last minute, but today was the deadline for the pre-purchase discount.

Edit: They re-instated the discount until the 16th.

Capcom Cup is about to begin: http://www.twitch.tv/capcomfighters

Pretty much all of the big name SF4 players are there competing for a $30,000 grand prize. Should be good.

I feel bad laughing at this. If they just took the camera off him and ran stats or something it would be alright.

Grand finals were a bit of a blow out, but that was a great tournament overall. Lots of really exciting matches and surprise wins. I'm glad Momochi finally won something big, too.

Next up is some new SF5 footage and live matches? Not sure.

"But she's got a new hat"

It's the same shit with more mechanics.

*Parry
*No chip Damage
Thought Capcom was smarter than that.

Yeah, just like new shmups are the same shit with new mechanics?
There are no parries, and now even normal moves deal grey chip-damage.

When it comes to sf5 the expectation is so high, that no matter what Capcom do, the fans will give them shit. This is still under development, let's not poopoo it too early.

Exactly. Happened with dark souls too.

Yeah dark souls community has the same problem. Any big franchise where people look at old iterations with nostalgia goggles has this problem.

Wait till sf6 comes out. People will praise sf5.

I for one hope they keep the Noodle Hat (in non-DLC costume form :P), though the stone-faced "only gameplay matters" demographic will still yowl to no end about it, and completely miss the inherent irony in the process.
