Although to me it seems like the scores are similar as if you had played and shot up the various boss parts. Still, for some of them it's a pretty quick and painless way to end the fight (especially the random desert stage's boss).

Cross Blade is much, much easier. I think someone already mentioned how to trigger the 1-6 bosses but if you're in the center of the screen after defeating the two spinny things, Cross Blade will pop instead of Geobite.
Huh, I thought it was weird that Super-Play had two boss videos for the same stage. That's a great tip, but could you be more specific about the "spinny things"?

Those two spinning turrets (one on the left and one on the right side) which leave four medals each.

So after I kill those, I go straight for the center? I assume Geo Bite won't be triggered if I veer off to collect the medals on either side afterwards?

I probably should change mame version if I intend to clear the first loop, that layer popup is pretty damn annoying at the last boss.

'Final' boss. That tip to trigger the 'easy st6 boss' is pure gold, thanks. I managed to 1B0M the st7 boss on this run, need to get this consistently down...

As far as I know, it's 20000 for normal fight, 40000 for technical bonus.

You can get both Spike Arm's arms and the building near Thanatos well before the TB (time your Supershots through the level to make Spike Arm easy), though I think they're all worth 1000 a piece (the building might be 2).

Figured out how to trigger Cross Blade in Stage 6. He's still a bast but a lot more manageable. Just gotta watch for the surprise laser.

I couldn't improve over my record after 3 straight hours of practice though :(

I will strangle unknown layer AFwhatever with my bare hands. Can't see shit on CQ's second form.

With a bit better use of resources I could definitely make 2-2, though.
