You'd be surprised. Based on the discussion in those podcasts (and in his vids, if you actually watch enough to get a feel for his habits) if it's not sealed (which, from what I've seen, looks like very little is still sealed) he's played it and given it an honest effort. Even notoriously crappy stuff he'll play and check out for himself, rather than follow the opinions of the masses. You really need to find somebody else to pick on. He is a terrible example of the witches you so enjoy complaining about.

That is a legitimate reason to get sealed games. I have bought some older games sealed because of this.
Of course, I've only done it when it wasn't stupid expensive compared to just getting a somewhat dented up used copy. ;P

If there's a specific game I'm looking for, I'll see what the sealed price is versus the CIB price. Obviously if it's not much more, I'll grab the sealed one. And then open it.

Nothing like that fresh chemical ink smell when you open a game box for the first time.

Yeah the adhesive was a bit old I think and was kind of gooey. Didn't have that nice crackly new sticker-ness to it.

And actually, now that I think about it, I used to work at a video rental store and would be opening lots and lots of DVD and game cases every week. So I used to be a professional sticker remover But that was a long time ago, I guess I'm out of practice
