He loves the drama

I think its a fine game TBH even though the last two stages (5-1 & 5-2) are nowhere near as good as they could have been. I STILL haven't managed to get a 1CC yet after god knows how many hours I've put into it

Never said Galuda was that good. It's just my favorite CAVE shmup, mainly for the gameplay mechanic, as well as the music and setting/theme; I like originality.

I say in very first post, that I like the game, I think its one of Cave better games but there just is all this hype around it… Its the sacred crow of shmups.com.

The reasoning it isn't in the top 25, well not everyone have an opportunity to play it… I guess that is what adds to its hype. It has become this mythical game that EVERYONE has to play…

Funny how so many people think that because I say its overrated, that I am saying it is a bad game or that it sucks.
I have never say that in this thread.

I have seen some people feel similar that the game is overrated but not a terrible game. Most do enjoy it as they should, but then the Ketsui stans come out and peddle the game somemore, and lynch anyone who dare disagree…
I don't know of a game that has a fanatical following such as Ketsui. Some of it does come from the culture of those who have it or have regular access to it are of a sub-culture, a special clique that is above others because they have the sacred cow of shooters…

Don't know where else I'm going… I had Monday off and I started my morning with a few shots of Panzer Jäger and two cans of Red Bull… I usually don't endulge in that manner but I guess I was in a mood to be extreme…

I still look to see how many people will bitch and whine next month when Ketsui turd label come out and shit on everyone sacred cow… maybe thats enough to kill the hype and bring it back to mortal shooter status. Nevertheless, I'll be enjoying every moment with my 360 Ketsui turd when the haters cry about how broken it is… load times be damned. I also look most forward to playing X mode!

Who cares about other people's opinions of the game when what matters is whether you like it or not? Other people's opinions can have value (they may have insights on something you don't) but the personal preferences of others are not something to get worked up over. Of course, not all opinions are created equal, and if you've only put 30 credits into the game, it's safe to say you haven't given it a fair chance. If you don't think it's worth the money don't buy it, but don't hate on people who do. I mean, who gets to decide how much is too much to spend on a game?

"They" are not porting DOJ...again... or at all. 5pb is, and doing a shit job. It's one thing to port two old games whose PCBs are very sought after, pricey, and hard to find. It's another to port a game which was a huge hit, but is readily available. Futari would happen before Galuda 2 any day.
