LOL our B-Team could maybe beat our A-Team. Actually groobo was supposed to be on A, but our signups was just one big race condition. :roll: Also I don't know why sarou didn't sign up, because our B-Team would actually be really good then (right now they're missing a third quality scorer).

Well, at least dex has somebody to keep him company. Maybe next year we should have SDA Poland instead of a B-team.

I prefer "PC Speedrunners Team". ;)

We could draft Kib into the mix too.

Also stage 6 sucks. That is all.

C'mon, you know Kib would only be able to play games like Raiden 3, Shikigami no Shiro 2, doujins, uh... :lol:

Edit: oh yeah let's not forget western games like RAPTOR and TYRIAN and JETS N GUNS oh yeah, also I don't know his stance on Amiga or FM Towns or PC-98 etc

Would someone be so kind as to explain how to get the autofire on/off toggle button to work in MAMEPlus? I have the "input (general)" set up to be Z=1, X=2 and S=autofire toggle. However, the toggle button has never worked... ever. Is this feature broken in MAMEPlus, or is there a setting somewhere that I missed?

I'm using MAMEPlus .126u5. My wrist would very much appreciate any help.

God no, don't use autofire toggle. You can't switch fast enough between shot and missile, and the whole switching is just annoying. Use custom buttons instead.

1) Go to custom buttons, then P1 custom 1, press 1 on the keyboard, and it'll set another button for shot.

2) Go to input (this game), set custom button 1 as Z, and P1 button 1 as S.

3) Go to autofire settings and set P1 button 1 ON.

Now you should have:
Z= Charge shot
X= Bomb
S= Auto-fire

This is helpful on other games too, like Strikers 1945 II.

I like toggle. Always hold auto, tap toggle to charge, tap toggle to release. Very easy. In your autofire settings, you can change each button OFF/ON/Toggle.

... there's a "toggle" option in the autofire settings? I now officially feel like a "dee d'deeeee" as Mencia might say.

Thanks for help sik and Ruldra. You both just saved my aching wrist :lol:

Press F12 then look in your MAME directory for a folder named "snap" - your picture will be in there.

Thanks for the autofire tips. Seems I was doing it wrong and a pad suffered the consequences of my hyperactive button mashing.

I'm improving. Kinda. Made it to stage 5 and managed to blew it at the dark plane.

I actually got "S" ranks on the first six bosses (with some tips from ED on the Stage 2 boss). I'd almost feel studly if I hadn't held down the damn auto fire button when the initials screen came up :lol:

I've had no time to play at all, so I'm just going to throw up my first run, just in case we need the score. Hopefully I'll have time to improve a little before deadline time.

Ok, I'm done. It's less than I was hoping for but I fail at getting 100% on stage 2 and 95%+ on 5, so it seems fair.
