I have the Darius Gaiden laserdisc. The superplay is amazing and the live action stuff is just 'bizarre'!

EXTREME MOVIES or EXTREAM MOVIES, depending on where you look.

Same! Same! Same! Development Version - Player 木之本まい’ん - Score 10,000,000 over.

Kyukyoku Tiger - Player Knight2k - Score 10,000,000 over.
(starts at the beginning of the 4th loop)

Tatsujin - Player ACU-AZUKI-KZS - Score 1,556,930 end 2-1.
(there could be more information concerning this but it seems fairly straight forward)
This is interesting - I had assumed these were rereleases of the Toaplan Super Shooting laserdisc - but that has Sky Shark, not Fire Shark - can you confirm that these are new superplays? I would have snagged one if I had known this to be true.

I reckon so; rancor has some lovely VHS superplays for sale in his superb store.

Not sure the DDP one there is the one you're after.

New Thunderforce AC doujin from SGAD arrived in my mailbox today. I'd like to think that all the biz they get from us is encouraging them to make more STG superplays.

Picked up the SDOJ doujin superplay today:

As with the Akai Katana doujin, it's put out by Project Hame. Comes with a 4-page book.

What are the scores? I don't see anything on the site, not even a mention of this DVD.

Are you sure there isn't a digit missing there? There are non-EX videos of players achieving over 10b on stage 5 alone.

EDIT: Oh wait, forgot about the possibility of it being an EX clear. Still seems somewhat low, though...

Yeah, surely they wouldn't sell much had the score been announced.

That Psyvariar Superplay DVD is none other than Success' Reverse Babel Label of Psyvariar Appreciate DVD Vol. 1 (with the unmistakable iconic Psyvariar Medium Unit fonts on the DVD side label). There never was a Vol. 2 follow-up Psy-MU/Psy-R superplay DVD released from Success. It does have both yoko and tate for your viewing pleasure (which is rare for a DVD based shmup superplay). It's taken from the Taito G-Cards of Psyvariar Medium Unit and Psyvariar Revision running on the Taito G-Net arcade hardware for the actual superplay runs. Very impressive opening montage and ending credits to watch, especially with a great audio system in place hooked up to the ol' DVD player. It's also a Japanese Region 2 DVD at best. I've reburned it as a Region 0 DVD-R to play on virtually any region DVD player to bypass that Region 2 issue/problem. Of course, a handy Region 2 DVD player works wonders as well.

A superplay of Metal Black will be interesting. Game takes some extremely cheap shots in the later stages.

Any idea if the Gun Frontier play will be with autofire?

No idea about it. Here's the link 『メタルブラック&ガンフロンティア」PERFECT BOX ゲームミュージックディスカバリーシリーズ
A Gun Frontier superplay will be more interesting than Metal Black. I mean, it took me 2 months to clear MB with a no miss.

NIGHT STRIKER & SYVALION PERFECT BOX is not on the main list too.

ESPrade doujin DVD spotted in the wild today. Looks to be another by Project Hame. $40 for a DVD-R was a tad too rich for my blood.

lol! Takes some nerve to sell a DVD with that kind of score. I'll give you a private demonstration on how to get 10 billion for a Coke.
