Nice
I'm going to try to do better this evening.
Gave up already

Yeah, Im done too.
As much as I love this game, and as much as the scoring system is neat.... at least in concept..... actually PLAYING for score is just damn annoying.
I absolutely hate using Ruby or Stuck (Stuck's weapon is STUPID, and Ruby moves too fast, no option to hold a button and slow down in Giga Wing), boss milking is STILL one of the most annoying concepts in gaming (I cant even WATCH it without getting bored), and some of the tactics necessary to get a good score (like the crap with the stupid train), are just too dang obnoxious for my patience.
That, and playing for score basically requires a great many restarts, and the first stage is always MONUMENTALLY boring in this game. It's like, come on, SHOOT at me already, give me some excitement here..... I lack the patience to do that.
That, and I FINALLY got Giga Wing Generations working 2 nights ago, so I havent been doing much else except play that (I really fail to see what the problem is with that game, *I* think it's great).
Though, the final straw for this was when that GODFORSAKEN PIECE OF CRAP 360 controller decided AGAIN to ignore my button presses, at the end of stage 5 no less, and instead of shielding, did absolutely nothing, and everything went totally downhill from there (cause I lost ALL of my collected bombs there). That happened about 8 minutes ago, and it's like, that's it, Im done. I really need to A: replace it, B: run it over with the car.
At least I can play Generations with the PS2 controller.
Sorry for the mini-ramble, but Im a tad annoyed at the moment, and I dont have anything nearby to smack the hell outta that controller with.....
On another note though, the last score I DID get was:
Bridget - 10,5849,3938,5840 - Isha - Stage 6
A hideous score, even for me when Im not trying for score, but there it is, at least I posted SOMETHING.
And now, back to Generations.
