PC?
Maybe it will bever be ported given the problems you mentioned.
And if anything of that don't work, there will always be emulation left...

I'd imagine we'll get a smartphone port if nothing else.
lol... yeah, I forgot that! It will definetly have an IOS port
and that makes me thing... why haven't any company made a controller/arcade stick for Ipad... given the amount of games that platform is receiving it's a great investment.
Only Cave knows the answer to that. Maybe they don't know about it, don't care, or simply the development time to recode the app to add back in joystick support wouldn't be worth the extra sales.

Wii U seems the most likely at this point. But I'm expecting Xbox Next to be fully backwards compatible with the 360 in terms of coding, so that's a strong possibility if it turns out to be true.

I ask them about it over Twitter every 3 or so months and the answer is always either "no comment" or "not planned at this time".
That document is about 2 years old, and plans can drastically change in two years (for better or worse). Assuming it's actually real, of course. And all evidence so far points to it being fake.
True, but I doubt MS nor Sony is going to break some 10 years of multipurpose function to come up with a 'minimalist' gaming console, and whoever made that clearly agrees with me considering the amount of functions they decided their idea of the next console will have. In fact I'm probably one of the few that suggest that all gaming companies this generation haven't actually done enough to make the most out of their devices - for example the Wii is more than capable of playing DVD Videos which would've made for a neat Movie Channel, but instead that's left to the homebrew developers.
Anyone know the meaning of ツマンネ ? It's often written in the bottom right corner of STG videos... Anyway, a hibachi video for fun lately on nicodouga, I uploaded this on youtube http://youtu.be/FPOckUJfgcQ
