Move left -> Pause game -> Don't move and unpause -> The ship moves left a little, when it should stay still.

The game itself is hard and sweet, can't get past stage 4 boss
well that's clearly programmed into the game then, ie intentional, because if it can read and respond to the pause button, it should in theory be able to read and respond to the rest without lag, unless they specifically coded it not toCagar wrote:Input lag is driving me crazy.

I'll sometimes lose the vertical position of the ship while looking at the top half of the screen in more recent Cave games just due to the amount of UI stuff hanging off of the ship, especially when lasering since I can no longer extrapolate the location from the shot pattern.Icarus wrote:I still seem to have trouble tracking my ship's position, something I noticed when playing it at Stunfest as well - my eyes seem to think that the ship is at least a length higher up than it actually is.
We've covered it in the high score thread and here, but I'll just hammer it all out in one post:angrycoder wrote:Anyone have any idea what the basic system is for 360 mode?
Took the work to post that info in the guide thread.angrycoder wrote:Thanks CptRansom, you are the man.
You should start a strategy topic with that info.
It might be the translucent trippy trail your ship leaves behind it while moving around with the laser held? But I'm not sure.espibara wrote:What the hell is the invisible after image?
I've turned it on and off and still cant see what it does

I hope he starts with input lag.Muchi Muchi Spork wrote:Where's Dr. Trouserplank when you need him.
Please don't give him anymore fodder. I prefer my t-planking to be au naturel and organic.Cagar wrote:I hope he starts with input lag.Muchi Muchi Spork wrote:Where's Dr. Trouserplank when you need him.
It's just terrible. I have to plan routes and lots of stuff with this lag in mind, can't dodge anything naturally.
