strikers 1999 , finally starting to enjoy psikyo very much , i think when you get past the dodgy music and the high initial difficulty of the memory/speed gameplay there games start to become such a rush to play .

Playing Souky [PS1 version] in ePSXe, is the high score screen normally gliched?

Also, this is Raizing's best game IMHO, as it just plays better [than the rest].

Hadn't played for a long time. My score sux (as usual), but I think with some practice, I can nail the 1CC on this (1st loop at least), unless the game goes apeshit on level 5.

I really should get back to the original Dodonpachi someday. After playing this, Mushi e DDP DOJ, something tells me I could 1CC DDP without much trouble.... I've never 1cc anything from Cave

Because I'm an idiot and only just got my first Sega Saturn at the end of last year, I'm playing a hell of a lot of Saturn shmups. Or at least, whichever good ones I can afford.

Right now, it's Soukyugurentai. Love it. I can get to the fifth stage on one credit, which I'm personally happy about...

I was playing some Gradius II (arcade) a couple credits a day for a while. Devoted some practice to it and nabbed the 1cc. Easiest Gradius 1cc next to Gradius I IMO. Now I'm working on Mushihimesama original mode, tryin to place on the boards, need to 1cc with 2 lives remaining at least. I've only managed 1 life remaining so far. Stage 5 is intense awesomeness on original mode. I want to return to ESP Rade and ESP Galuda and Dragon Spirit soon, though. Not sure what order... god, shmups are great.

Finally 1cc'd my Mushi pcb! (also my 1st CAVE 1cc!)

so what should I go for next? I'm thinking about getting Esprade again and going for the 1cc. I also might try to improve my score with Mushi...

I'm so happy I just upgraded my Mac to 10.3.

Anyone with a G3 Mac with over 128 MB of RAM [and faster than 450MHz] should upgrade to 10.3. Much faster than 10.2, runs more than 10.1, and runs newer stuff than OS9. Don't hold back like I did.

Thunder Cross/Thunder Cross II. Can't remember the last shooter I played where the special weapons were actually more of a hindrance than a help. Also, the ESP series, the Strikers 1945 series, and Ketsui: Death Label.
