You should see how damn small an Atari Games produced Tetris PCB is...it's, indeed, a tiny single-layer Jamma based PCB as well.

That's tiny! I don't normally like tattoos, but yours is really cool by the way.

Cheers - that was from when my house rabbit died. He was a little shit, frankly, and caused me nothing but trouble, but I loved him a lot, and I got the feeling that if he was a human he'd wear a leather jacket, smoke and have tattoos, so it felt fitting.

AH...weird..you get "#1 First! Super Emotion Trophy of PCB Ultra-Minitude"
From http://PCBdB.net:

Image

You move your arrow around a maze collecting dots. Avoid colliding with the X that is also moving around the maze.

This is a game that Sega used in-house to test the hardware it was developing during the late 1980s through the early 1990s. It is a simple game that lacks sound and the familiar player prompts (e.g. "insert coin"). It was never fully developed nor intended to be released to the public.

I'll presume that's rare...tell us more :)

**SNIP SNIP SNiP!**
Love to see other Aero's, don't see nearly as many as Astros, Egrets, etc...gotta love the steel!

Anyway, QUESTION:
I see the ashtray obviously won't fit in your Aero's metal-ring swing-out ashtray holder (I ASSUME that's what that ring is for on my Aeros :) ) Ever find one that does?

I'm currently trying to locate marquee holders (from FrancoB) AND the proper size ashtrays to fit those metal ring deals. I'm guessing the Taito type may fit, as they have that groove around the base, but have never seen one in person.

Anybody got an idea what exactly will fit, and where I can get a few?

Thanks a ton, Aero stuff is balls hard to locate - like original control panels, or any other part for that matter....

CHAPTER 2

Matskat gazed longingly at TonK's DDP board, a telltale lump protruding out just below his fanny pack. A single, salinous bead of sweat began to glisten on his fuzzy upper lip...a soft moan escaping his lips...

WHAcK!

Searing pain in his groin! The sickly stomach turning nausea of testicular trauma set upon him like depraved wolverines!

His eyes had betrayed him!

His brand new Ibara PCB - always vigilant and HIGHLY territorial - having noticed his cheating eyes reacted - gingerly slapping him in his tender balls!

"YOU TOLE ME YOU LOOOOOVE ME!" it buzzed horribly, one of her capacitors popping open, releasing her Magic Smoke like the final blossoming of a neglected Lotus.

Nice score, CIT!!

Osman \ Cannon Dancer is a GREATLY underrated game...good job grabbing it up!

Mind if I ask how much it set you back? I hear that you can easily convert certain boards to Cannon Dancer etc. Was this the case - or is that an original board?
I'm still looking for two Mitchell boards...Cannnon Dancer of course and GAMSHARA!

Nice GET!

Got it from S-TV here on shmups and AO. Afaict its not a conversion; I can put a pic of the PCB up later. It was expensive (€400) and I actually sold my Ketsui to acquire this, but it's been at the top of my wanted list for a while, and has become really difficult to find, let alone find cheaply.

I think it's just a odd curio rather than huge rarity.

That said, I got mine on eBay about two-years ago, and without proactively looking I haven't ever seen one for sale until just recently on this very forum.

I was told they were worth about $80, but it seems £30 is more realistic.

In some places you'll read that they were apparently sold to obey some odd law that required new cabs to be ready to power up with a game immediately.

I'd read, however, that it was a response to a law that applied a tax to gambling machines, and apparently a cab without a game counted as a potential gambling machine.

Who knows?

There's Taito's Mini Vaders test PCB too.

Sell me yours!

Mushi came just a couple of days back. The other stuff I've been meaning to post for a little while.

So, some Seta 1st Gen and SH3 treats for spadgy:

Image
Mushihimesama, with Ultra unlocked. It's not bug-fixed, but carries an 'R-sticker' (the little orange one) indicating it's been back to Cave at some point. Maybe not for a repair though, as the R-sticker doesn't have the little red R stamp on it that I've seen on every other board carrying an R-sticker.

I guess this would qualify as more of a "finally got to play" than a "just got," but I'll post it here nonetheless. Aeons ago I purchased an NOS kit of Saturday Night Slam Masters on the cheap because the board had already suicided.

Image

Well, thanks to the kind folks @The Dead Battery Society, and a bit of elbow grease, I can play Slam Masters w/o fear of it suiciding ever again:

Got two high class mecha shmups. The soundtracks on these are insanely good.

(I'll likely be upgrading this to Wolf Fang, as I hear it has additional levels)
