Glad to know I'm not the only one who had a run end when Stranger begins his opening pattern. Good run, though...You definitely beat the hell out of my Stage 3 and 5 medal totals. I'd hate to see the damage you would do if you refined your play even more and cleared. Bravo.

My replays totally fail. I dunno why you'd want to watch them, but ok.

I actually don't have access to VP1 and DG replays right now since they're on my other computer, but basically I don't rely on skill at all for all of the games. I just bomb or use shields and other gamebreaking crap.

All inputs run on wolf99
4.59M stg 5 Twinbee Yahho!
834K or something stg 1-8 Omega Fighters Special
46.1T stg 7 Giga Wing

Omega Fighters Special run won't match my submitted score because I was too lazy to rerun it to check the last 3 digits.

Did sikraiken ever post up his replay videos? I'd like to see them.

Great replays, Icarus.

He has a twinbee stage 2 vid up.

All of his vids are going to have higher scores than submitted supposedly. 110T Giga Wing is all I can remember off the top of my head.

Personally, I'm kind of skeptical, but w/e.

Thanks. To be honest though, I am disappointed with some of the runs as I felt I could have done a lot better. But what can you do when inconsistency strikes? ¯\(°_o)/¯

A couple of random comments about my last plays.

- With TBY, the game irritated me to no end as with Option Type I could not manage to no-miss consistently past the st3 boss, which cost me a ton of potential points. The 5.15mil run was rescued in part by decent play through st4 and 5. Was quite happy with the score at the end, as a top 3 finish was all I was after, and didn't really want to push any further.

- I feel I could have all-cleared VP1, given that on the last evening of the playing week, I came up with this technique to get past the st6 boss. However, I couldn't fit it into a run on time.

- 11.5mil eluded me with DG. My last decent run (and the score I eventually submitted) I had to bomb to protect the run and lost 200k as a result. I had managed to refine my run enough to capture all six Captains and score 4.2mil+ by the time Risk Storage appears, but on that particular run, I couldn't no-miss clear from being a second slow on the bomb button. I reckon I could equal Smraedis' current V Route ALL record, or break 12mil, but that can wait for another day.

- I quite enjoyed OFS. Suiciding for a mil is eerily reminiscent of Raizing games, and is probably why I found some comfort in it. 2-7 robbed me of a 2-ALL, that stage is evil. Quite happy with what I managed to get, however. I did manage to theorise how to get a couple more mil and get 25mil+, but I dont desire to try just yet. I might return to OFS in the near future, however, as I think it's fun.

- GW. Ugh. Game didn't agree with me at all until Saturday, and it was only after I realised why the st3 boss was being destroyed so quickly (and not being milked enough as a result) that I managed to improve my run enough to sneak into 1st place.

Thanks. I don't think I desire trying though. Stage 3 was refined quite well and could be pushed a little further. Stage 5 was a mess, however. Not having a good route through the stage, and bombing at the first sign of trouble cost me a decent chunk of medals. If anything though, protecting a no miss to the st6 boss is what got me my score in the end, as having 24mil+ medals contributes a great deal to your score if you also have a couple of bombs in tow when you down the st6 boss.

Also, that was only the second time I've seen the last boss. Given that the speed of bullets for most of the game is snail-speed, the second form's first pattern caught me out completely. Doubt I'll try for a higher score though, as I don't really desire to play GW, now or in the near future.

I didnt bother to save any replays of mine, didnt seem to be a point at the time (it's annoying to do).

Still disappointed at my performance in Giga Wing.

NORMALLY..... particularly with Isha...... I can one-life at least to the Stranger...... and as long as I dont make a total ass of myself in that fight, I'll beat him.

This time around, though, noooooooooooooo.

Kept trying to do certain odd scoring tricks I'd become aware of (such as one that's done right after the train scene), and then CRASHING while attempting to do them.

And then I'd get frustrated and hit MORE stuff, and......

Well, I was annoyed, yes....
