Big jump over my last score (3 mil). First time into stage 3.
I think I have 1 and 2 down to the best of my abilities, I'm not maxing overmode. Haven't tried bombing the midbosses either.
Maybe I'll practice stage 3, so far I haven't had time for practice mode.

Well, I don't like this game so I decided to make it more entertaining. Finally got a new computer and I can play on a keyboard again -- where I belong. The first run of many since I suspect the final boss will take me a while to figure out.

Freaking out a little, first garuda clear. Went into the final attack with no gems and no bombs, made it out alive. Practice definitely paid off. 2 lives remaining.

Now I guess I'll start focusing on score a bit for the rest of the week.

I just cannot keep it together in stage 4 and 5 :cry: It's all dumb deaths too, so not sure how much help practice will be. Getting really close to that ALL though!

Switched from PS2 to MAME for a final morning of desperate cramming and managed to clear the game with three lives in stock. Scored even worse than last time (like 2 million less I think?), but the lives in stock helped things along. Spent roughly 60% of this week playing all overdrive mode, which made everything seem ridiculously slow. It didn't help at all with scoring, but for survival it worked a treat.

Anyway, this is a total fluke. I can't top this in the next couple of hours, so I leave this in Team Royale's capable hands!
