Well, having a collection is one thing. You can still keep the games in good condition and still be able to play them.
But, with sealed collecting, you kind of can't play them. Unless you're able to magically remove the disc/cartridge without damaging the packaging.

You know maybe this is just me going mad but the title for this whole thing reminds a hell of a lot of the SOS Brigade from that Haruhi Suzumiya anime. I'm half-expecting a girl with a squeaky voice to submit a video of her trying to open up a game and failing hard because she can't do anything other than make tea. Or something.

That's exactly what I meant. The irony is that as most human beings get older and older, they have less time for recreation. Conversely, the games have gotten longer and longer on average. At least have if you look at them from when I was a kid to now.

I just got a sealed copy of Wipeout Pulse for PSP but I didn't think it was really worthy of the ASGDF.

It was only $10 off eBay.

The Rez for PS2 is definitely more valuable, I'm looking forward to 'popping' that one

Contrary to what you think, this guy plays more games in a week than most of us do in a month. I listen to the All Gen Gamers podcast periodically and when it comes time for "games you've been playing," all the other guys groan when it's Pete's turn because he's notorious for having played 18million games in the short time since the last episode and they get to hear about each one.

You'd be surprised. Based on the discussion in those podcasts (and in his vids, if you actually watch enough to get a feel for his habits) if it's not sealed (which, from what I've seen, looks like very little is still sealed) he's played it and given it an honest effort. Even notoriously crappy stuff he'll play and check out for himself, rather than follow the opinions of the masses. You really need to find somebody else to pick on. He is a terrible example of the witches you so enjoy complaining about.
