i just wish the scoring wasn't so foreign in the port, i guess leaderboards will help with that a bit since they sort the scores

I recall reading that the scoring will be localized for non-Japanese. Someone on PartnerNet should really confirm this for us though...

No it didn't unfortunately and they didn't dive into the alternate game modes either so wondering if they've reviewed the version on Partnernet.

A very disappointing review despite the score.

Bit dissapointed that the game is heavily bordered.

I think that the western reviewers are all gonna have a go about that.

Wonder why Cave decided to do this.

I'm sure Guwange will have a zoom option to make the picture touch the upper and lower edge of the monitor if that's what reviewers like. Cave defaults to zoom to 640x480 with borders, because the game's original resolution is 320x240 and a clean 4x zoom looks better than something crooked.

As for as options go.
7 different wallpapers
5 window modes including a TATE mode (however, you can't change the dimensions, so it doesn't fill the entire screen.
I also didn't see an option to change the controls to Tate mode, but I may have missed this.
There is no option to change the slowdown in any of the menus, but the 360 arrange mode did feel a little faster. This might just be me though.

Graphically there is no additional options. It appears to be using the same filters that Ketsui uses. Sadly the TV i'm playing it on is quite tiny, but I couldn't notice any scan lines.

No idea on the price as that option didn't come up.

Just referring to this guys post. Maybe its with Tate mode that you cant fill the whole screen.

About time. Ive stayed away from Mame to make it refreshing to play this. I could just play it on my XBOX 1 FBA PRO but have restrained myself.

Being in europe will be interesting if RFA comes out on october 29th. I have my doubts.
