Pros:
- I still didn't get the 1cc on DFK (DAMN YOU LASER WHEELS), but it was great fun hanging out with you guys.
- I'm impressed by Bobby's anonymous PCB collector and his seemingly endless collection.
- Dodonpachi is awesome.

Cons:
- Very small turnout. We need to get a Facebook group together, but I don't have a Facebook, so I unfortunately can't contribute.

Hey guys, can we move all discussion about shmupmeets to the shmupmeets forum, and keep this thread on just the arcade? That way we're not cluttering shmups chat with off topic discussion.

Huh, I never considered advertising in the store. Makes sense; we can't expect to get a huge number of entrants if we only talk about it on the forum. And I relish the thought of not being last-place once in a while . Next time I'll work on troubleshooting MAME so I can practice more. If we practice beforehand, I won't have so much trouble.

You could always play, you know, the actual game in the actual arcade beforehand. No troubleshooting needed, and on top of that you get a clear conscience!

Just checked out the video. You guys have a pretty special thing there in Seattle. Hopefully oneday work will take me out that way.

We have such a cool community at Casino arcade in London, but nothing as sweet as you in terms of cabs. I'd love to set something like that up in London. I think Devil Soundwave had a something like that in mind once too. If there were the cabs I'd happily lend my PCBs, and I know others would too. There just has to be a venue and a means...

Good work by all involved at the Pink Gorilla arcade. It's an inspiration!

Managed to visit Pink Gorilla earler tonight and the place is awesome! Somehow, I got to the day's high score list (though at the bottom) of DDP and ESPGaluda II, but then again, the boards probably don't save high scores. Keep it up PG!!!!

DDP doesn't save high scores, but E2 does. The shmups barely get played from what I've been told, so its possible you might have been the only one who played them at all that day. Kind of a miracle they're even there tbh. Check out our thread in the shmupmeets board though, somewhat recently we get together roughly once a month, next one is Nov. 27th, so if you have time we'd love to see you there!

Thanks EPS21! I had to go back two nights later to play DDP/ESP2 more and to pick up Fighter's History Dynamite for the Saturn. Now I have my eye on the White Japanese Saturn on display (shhhh...this would be like my fifth one). I'm about to check out the other store in the International district. Got the top spot for DDP FOR THE DAY and got to the 4th or 5th stage...don't remember. The U district store has some incredible items!! Judgement Silversword, New US Panzer Saga, Recca, etc.
