So, you're going to continue bumping this thread with every inch of progress you make?lilmanjs wrote:ok so I have no way of uploading my latest high scores screenshot(on camera but the computer isn't at home that I can get the pic onto and resized). but I have been able to get over 1million and make it to stage 1-4.
I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.
I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

you haven't played many shmups, have you...lilmanjs wrote:the thread is for the Under Defeat world record. so far I think Under Defeat is the best shmup out there.jpj wrote:which game are you talking about though...?lilmanjs wrote:but I have been able to get over 1million and make it to stage 1-4.

I regret that this forum is full of folks of questionable character…
Please be ignore of the haters and don't give up on your games playing.
Don't be discouraged and keep your goals high and maintain your focus.
Best of luck to you in what ever your goals may be.

I've never had any trouble with the movement speed in the game. It's very precise and the helicopter never feels out of control.Jockel wrote:Your heli moves way too slow
The easiest thing to look at is the center of the rotor. It's a brownish-grey pentagon right in the center of the ship model.Jockel wrote:and its pure luck finding out where exactly your hitbox is.
A constant stream of popcorn enemies would potentially fuck up the scoring system... you wouldn't want to shoot at them anyway.Jockel wrote:The lack of popcorn enemies is also unpleasant.
The main shot is perfectly balanced damange-wise. If you're taking a long time killing things, then you need to learn to use the rocket-pod.Jockel wrote:And i feel like the heli is underpowered. It's like a classical euroshmup.
anyways I finally updated my blog people. http://underdefeat.sosblog.com/
I don't get a chance to play the game much but I do try to play every day. as for all of you who think I'm setting my sights a little too high I'm going to at least get the highest score on this forum.
