I finally gotten my 1CC. Original Mode only though. Time to move to Maniac mode now. (Stupid 3rd Boss took out most of my lives)

(My First rank doesn't count, because I accidently hit start on player 2 , adding a continue to it)

And several whacks at Original. I kept hitting bullets that already passed, those large flying rocks on the first stage and the jellyfish in the second using Reko, so those never got above 100 million (or the third stage). This Palm run wasn't any better because the 5th stage's extend FLEW AWAY.

Took 5th place at the arcade! Was a good run up to the end of level 5 where I choked big time. How hard is the final boss/what should I have in stock life wise to beat him?

Nice score increase!

You will probably blow many lives and bombs on the final boss, especially with Reco since she is much weaker than Palm at the end of the game. It's quite a long fight.

Larsa Sucks.
I usually need about two lives remaining to beat her. Like any Shump, practice makes better. You may have to get used to the formations, as you continue to practice. The main way to practice is to continually play the game and not take more than a week between playthroughs, So you don't get rusty. Even after I beat original, I still play it to keep my skills up.

I can make level 5 pretty constantly but it is usually with 1 life or so. If all goes well I can make it with 2 or 3 but I am probably still a fair way off that 1CC.

I only really get to head down to the arcade once or maybe twice a week to drop a couple of dollars so playing consistently is a bit hard. Strangely my best run is always the first credit I play.

Not a big increase but was interesting because I no missed stage 4 and 5 right up to before Larsa which I have never done before. I can never seem to bring things together for one great run though.
