I haven't watched any videos, read through any tutorials, strategies, nothing. After playing it for a bit, my opinion of it does go up, but only slightly. So, this will be my last entry for this game unless some free time for me opens up this weekend :

To my team: If I play this week, my score will probably suck, sorry. Getting back from vacation, catching up with SDA, catching up with my job, going out of town this Saturday, then my sister's birthday on Sunday means I don't have a lot of free time this week. I'll make it up other weeks. Also, good thing we have Breakdown this year

On stage 1 you get 50k instead of the 10k you get for A. Multiplied by your rank, it's a nice extra 200-240k points. I'm not sure if this is static all the way through, haven't paid much attention (and haven't ever gotten S on a later boss).

First time seeing stage 6 in a full playthrough, failing horribly (although expected, having only one life going in).

Had I 100%'d stages 3-4, 5 million would be easy-peasy. Funny thing, though, my stage 3 bonus was 2 times higher than that of stage 4, and 1.5 times higher than stage 5 (since it was done outright bad).

Yay, I broke a pad because of this game! (excessive tapping, autofire proves futile in this game since if you don't use the missiles you are bound to kill stuff slowly... at least in my personal experience)

I think I might be able to improve that a bit... (maybe, especially if I can get a new pad tomorrow and before the deadline)
