I still attempt to x10 anything I could and get appreciable amounts of point improvement.

It's a habit from playing the real mode.

I know I can improve this, but I just won't have the time to play it any more on the week.
I think I clocked only 7-8 hours playing this this week, I've been really busy...

Funny things to do while playing this game

1 - Making 2 1ups show up at the SAME time while you are already fully stocked. Priceless

2 - Keep a red orb to bomb a specific place where it going to give you more points... dodge a shitload of bullets while keeping your bomb impact, and one milisecond before pressing the bomb button, a shot out of nowhere hits your bomb, and because you thought you were safe, the next second you die because of a bullet.

3 - Lose 3 consecutive lives in less than 6 seconds because the inviciblity time is ridiculous small, and many times you respawn in the middle of a huge mess underpowered.

4 - Staying on the top of the screen about 80% of the time. And when I mean "top", I don't mean the upper third of the screen, I mean really at the most top position you can stay at screen, and make people watching you playing go WTF ?

I still find this to be an amazingly enjoyalbe game, in spite of all its problems.

haha, that game 2 was a mess? The frikkin' gnats made that all kinds of crazy. Glad the Yankees bit it again. I didn't know borderline biblical plagues were allowed in the postseason. Maybe in game 3 they'll cover the field with frogs.

Beats the hell out of me. I've watched my ship explode several times when a multiplier appeared on my ship (this after a screen clearing bomb), and I've gone after a 1up, only to explode when I touched it... twice.
