Popped in to Casino while passing through town today. Hit the second extend in Mushi F with Palm and made it to the item carrier before the stage 5 boss (is that the final boss?). What a ridiculous thing to get killed by!

Awesome fun though - I think I made 11mil, and so I just snuck to number one on the overall/saved (as opposed to 'Today's') scoreboard - just above MX7 and JDE. Better get back to it fellas!

On that subject - I can make it Wednesday or Friday this week. Any preference for the rest of y'all?

I'm down Casino tonight too folks. Only until about9pm. Anybody around?
Is there any chance you can find out before middle of next week? As much as I like the pampering, it's a bit pointless if I don't get to see mah boys. Maybe Rupert is going?
Sorry man - I don't think I'll make it.

Spadgy, I'll be down soon to try and remove you from the top of Futari's overall scoreboard :P
Anybody else going to be there?

See you in a bit then!

I'm not sure who else is down.

I actually spoke via Twitter to MX7 today about changing our regular weekly meet to another day that would suit more people.

(At the moment only me, JDE and HZT are making it. I know CHI will be there again every week when he's back from Muscle Beach, but it would still be nice to see more of Dan76, RupertH and the rest of you.)

MX7 suggested Tuesday.

I'll send a PM soon, but right now I need to run for a train!

Tuesdays would be good.

Couldn't make tonight, though I'd planned to. I was in last week during the day having a few credits on Futari.

Anyone around tomorrow?

I should be around tonight, not sure how long I'll be staying. Going to try and nail stage three and knock OTA off the top of the board :D

Mushi Futari, what is the conditions/settings for 'GOD' mode or is it the jap version of Ultra?

It can only be played on the Black Label version of Mushi Futari, it takes the place of the Ultra mode.

I thought that was an otter, not a squirrel? Either way, I wouldn't look at the scoreboard, if I were you :o

By the way, JDE, I owe you a pint for lending Futari to the Casino. IMHO, it's the best game the arcade has had, along with Muchi-Muchi Pork! :D

I was trying to suggest OTA = Otter. Pretty tenuous. Really I was just eager to mention Terry Nutkins' fingers.

Anyway - this week, lets try Tuesday for the meet-up. How does that sound to everybody? Hopefully a few more can make it. I'll actually get there about 6.30pm too.

Tuesday is good for me and it'd be great to meet more people, I'll try to get there at 7:00 PM.

I'm glad you're enjoying it MX7! My only regret about lending Futari to Casino is that I only get to play it twice a week, but fingers crossed I should be getting a new job in Soho soon, and then I can wander down and play it after work in the evenings. :D

I've got to go to ICE at the other end of town for work.

Sounds like EAG Expo will be better for arcade stuff, right?

Yeah i guess so, though i hear from other that attended last year that it was kinda tame on the arcade side with mostly dedicated cabs from the usual big hitters of SEGA, NAMCO, KONAMI.
Gonna head up london and try and get tickets.

Well - I was going to stay in polishing an arcade stick, but as it's you DEL!

Do you know where you'll be at the start of your tour of 'up west'? I'm free from about 1pm until about 4pm.

Cool - I'm free to drift around a bit while Mrs spadgy does some work down on South Bank. I'd like to visit Game Focus too. She might be up for the Troc too, so if you're passing through there we could cross paths there too.

I'm soon to set off to see DEL in a bit. Anybody else in town? I have have that Futari Superplay DVD to lend you JDE.

Great night on Tuesday by the way. Good to see Dan76, MX7, JDE and even the long absent Ravid. Tuesday's sound good for the regular meet going forward.

Sorry Spadgy, but I can't make it today. Might pop into Casino tomorrow afternoon though for some Futari.
Tuesdays sound good for the regular meet - if you could bring the Superplay DVD next week that'd be great.
And DEL, I hope you have a good time during your London visit!

I just thought I'd share with my Casino brethren that I just lost my last life on the final boss of Futari with just about a pixel's width of health left on the boss' health bar (at home on my Xbox 360). Did get 193 million with Palm/Abnormal though! [EDIT: I just realised I got the achievement for killing the boss, but I definitely died. That's about as close as you can push it!]

Now I really am off out the door!

My fault spadgy  . I got to the West End earlier than expected, went to the arcade, tried Futari then circled round shopping and came back 10 minutes after you left.
A good trip - bought a JAP X360 from Game Focus with 120gig, HDMI cable and a new Tekken Stick from CeX for £30 - Thanks to Inti.
Now I just need the games.

8 more Heads of State came round after you left and we hit Yung Chen in Chinatown.
I'll be back again quite soon.
