First time I post in this thread. I got the greatest CD of all time today:



It's the 3 disc re-release of Control Denied's only album. You can hear Chuck Schuldiner sing on it in clean voice!!! So awesome!

Please people buy this CD and don't pirate it to show your support and make sure the second Control Denied album will see the light of day eventually.

No pics but I finally got the 2008-end PC build working. Finally installed the ol' Fatal...damnit, Fata1ity...Sound Blaster X-FI Fatal1ty Professional card. Not so interested in the "X-RAMS MAKES GAME BET7ER" business but it's got nice clear audio. Unfortunately that leaves me trying to figure out something with the front audio panel...my case has some crap top panel thing. Oh right, before I start bitching about the quirks of this Enermax case, I ought to mention that I now have a Radeon HD 5850...the ASUS EAH5850 model. The resolution of the model on the front of the box is kind of silly, but it's not as silly and overblown as the Sapphire Radeon 4870x2 Angry Female Knight Character, and inside it feels...smells, even...pretty quality! Little semi-transparent blue covers over the PC-I interface plug and the HDMI plug as well. First card I've seen with a HDMI connector. And the card itself looks pretty space-age. Here's some pictures.

Aside from what should be pretty reasonable power usage, I think I mainly like that the model name uses my initials. The fact that it's being sold at the same price that Tom's lists stock 5850s in the "Top Gaming Cards for The Money" segment (at $260) didn't hurt, though! The only thing I don't care for is having read soon after that the just-released 6XXX Radeon HDs are going at tessellation better...but hopefully this is more than enough muscle for a good while.

CPO artwork (from GameOnGraphics) for my Tekken 6 HORI stick that's getting more awesome soon. For some reason I got two copies, which is good should I fuck up while applying it: (don't worry about that dust, I was in a hurry to shoot pics):


Also received a couple of bits for that very stick mod from Akihabarashop (1 x Orange bubbletop, 2 x orange 24 mm buttons with transparent plungers, 4 x black 30 mm buttons with transparent plungers, JLF 8-way gate (for modding of the tragic HORI stick as it's too much hassle trying to fit a brand stick in the tiny HORI case :awe: ). Not pictured here, sorry, I'll post pictures of the modded stick when it's finished instead. I also got some random Ketsui artwork (non-official).

for me it's DEATH, Merciful Fate/King Diamond, Carcass. I can't make up my mind between those. At any time one or another is my favorite. I ordered the 3 disc today. Thanks. I probably would have never heard of this since I don't buy much music nowadays.
