I can't wait for May 30th for when I get an e-mail saying that SDOJ will be delivered in a week or more.

I'm starting to regret not getting a SLE, that's a nice big ass box.
Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
I was thinking something similar a couple of weeks ago but for slightly more money you could possibly pick up an Ibara pcb.denpanosekai wrote:I'm starting to regret not getting a SLE, that's a nice big ass box.
As nice as the SLE is, it's probably a bit overpriced imho

Has anyone who has pre-ordered from Amiami get their invoice yet?

The USA based NCSX site had their allotted 360 SDOJ SLE sets priced at $168.00+ (before adding on the usual associated S&H fees)...still not a bad price for one (considering demand for it has spiked up the pricing on other sites).kathy wrote:I was thinking something similar a couple of weeks ago but for slightly more money you could possibly pick up an Ibara pcb.denpanosekai wrote:I'm starting to regret not getting a SLE, that's a nice big ass box.

Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
wow - i hadn't seen it that cheap... i think i need to explore other avenues of buying games (although im only one game short of what i would consider being happy with for the long run so it's a bit late!)
Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
Ordered my SLE from NCSX, so hopefully I should have it Saturday. Kinda silly to pay an extra $100 for a couple extras, but w/e it'll be the last time for a veerrry long while or possibly ever.

So, are they going to ship stuff a day or two BEFORE the release?
Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
I hope so, could get it on release day via UPS. I'm ordering from Play-Asia for the first time, so i don't know how they're handling preorders.Cagar wrote:Yeah I noticed that too!Dracuify wrote:Soon!

Last year when Mushimesama HD was released, I had preordered from Play-Asia and used Fed Ex 3 day shipping. The game was playing on my Xbox before 10am on release day. Hope this year is no different.

UPS or Fedex means guaranteed toll and import fees for me...
At the same time, just the idea of thinking that I'll have to wait something like 3 weeks is killing me! Ahhhh!

I know this is hardware but I thought I would post it here too seeing as it is DDP:SDOJ themed. Please let me know if I am in the wrong for putting this here.

enjirube wrote:Hi Guys,
As promised to mark the release of DoDonPachi Saidaioujou I have completed my second arcade stick mod (although this was more a complete build). Once again not perfect but I am still learning and it is cool to have a stick that works on PC/XBOX and PS3.
I will let the pictures do the talking and if you have any questions please feel free to ask!![]()
Raw Materials:
The artist's case masked off ready to be painted white:
Drilling the holes:

Cutting out the artwork:
Stenciling a DDP bee onto the case:
Plexiglass on and buttons in position (note the missile switch for the home button):
Internal wiring, stick is powered by a PS360+ board:

Whole build took around 12 hours in total with a little help from a friend and I really love this stick, can't wait to try it out on Saidaioujou in a few weeks.

Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
Yeah, Play-Asia has a very long history of shipping games as soon as they receive their stock, so oftentimes you can end up receiving games very close to the actual release date if you pick fast shipping. Only a few days left!
Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
Is there any way to work around the "no order cancel" policy of AmiAmi?
I've order SDOJ there with some other stuff thinking it would cost less, but it turns out play-asia is cheaper.
I sent them an e-mail but they refused to cancel the order.
I don't even know if I can still cancel my play-asia order. It says "Preparing order" now.
Any advice?

I don't know anything about cancelling the order. but I am sure that you will be able to resell the game for at least the same price.endoKarb wrote:Is there any way to work around the "no order cancel" policy of AmiAmi?

Don't order stuff you don't intend to buy in the future.endoKarb wrote:Is there any way to work around the "no order cancel" policy of AmiAmi?

Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
If Amiami has such a bullshit cancellation process, you can always refuse to pay once you're notified of order preparation.

Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
That's a rather obtuse statement. Some people have circumstances that may force them to change their plans.Friendly wrote:Don't order stuff you don't intend to buy in the future.endoKarb wrote:Is there any way to work around the "no order cancel" policy of AmiAmi?

Not having a return/cancellation policy is not the fault of a consumer, it's the business owner's issue. That's all part of Business 101.
Unfortunately customer satisfaction is not a top priority with these types of business running out of Asia.
Re: DoDonPachi Saidaioujou coming to Xbox 360 (REGION-FREE!)
Yeah, just don't pay for the item when they invoice you. They will send messages for a bit but ultimately will give up. One time is OK but you get on their shit list and might not be able to order from them for a few months if you make it twice or more.endoKarb wrote:Is there any way to work around the "no order cancel" policy of AmiAmi?

Or, you can email them and let them know your circumstances. They will email you back restating their policy but they will let you do it.
