And to the final boss of this game I say, "CANDLE SNIFFING FUCK FENCE GO CLIMB A WALL OF DICKS".

Seriosuly, had him at low rank, which I've no-bombed him at before, and the fucker clips me on the first pattern. EVERY TIME.

Lasers are fine now if I use a charge. Being too aggressive killed me in the past.

if you had 1.06m at the final boss, wouldn't the 60k from just killing it+some random points from popcorn/coins/2-1 already beat my last score?

Well, point taken, but then it'd be easy for you to beat me again if I just called it quits on 2-1. Better routes = a score that's harder for you to beat.

I'm not that good, 2-1 rapes me too

also, I tech'd the st5 boss - how many chests/techs did you get on that run?

All techs. Only got half the Stage 6 chest.

And the loop rapes me, so I'll need bombs if I'm to do drastically better.

I didn't even try the st6 tech - as usual I died before st5 with all my bombs, plus missed a chest and got only one from st7

to be honest I get nervous every time I see you post here

Would have made it had it not been 9:30 PM here. Did manage a 1-7 run despite mistakes - it's remarkable that a 1m+ run is a kusoplay for me.

Tomorrow I'll get access to caffeine and be a bit more efficient in my next attempts. See you on the high-score tables!

This game is tons of fun. Now it's time to refine the first loop. Maybe a no-miss with bombs. Keep going RNGMaster. You might want to consider using bomb distribution. That's what I did, it helped tons. I'm only about 10 or so hours into this game.

Bomb distribution past stage 5 is solid for me. It's mistakes before then that are the problem, since an unforeseen loss of bombs makes stage 6 much harder.

Did you look at the superplay at...super-play.co.uk? That also helped me too, the final boss strategies make him a relative cakewalk. Stage 6 boss however...

Maybe you should use bombs in the 3rd or 4th stage too. I mean if you have a doubt, bomb. Nothing wrong with it as long as your trying to get a first loop clear. 8)

Yup. Gonna try for 2-2 this week, and who knows what I'll do after that? Sapz might start on this soon, so then I'll have good competition.

Great score, congrats!
I would like to join in for more competition, but I simply can't right now. I hope I can tear the 1st loop apart until next year though. Good luck and keep at it.

I'm just impressed you can play Sonia so well. I couldn't get half as good a score with her - I can only use Quaid and, to a lesser extent, Ian.

Sonia is so slow and her dragon is so slow too. But her charged shot (with dragon and without dragon), her bomb, and her "magic time charged/discharged" are good. If you can use it for do damage on the big enemies and kill them with a dragon atack, sonia is the best.
Quaid is so weak, but his bomb and his speed are too much for sonia :(
The other day i see a japanese page with scores on dragon blaze. The best score with quaid was 4.3 M , and the best score with Sonia was 3.8 M.
BTW i cant play with Quiad because always i hit the bullets and always i get powerdowned.

Here's an initial score I got on Tuesday. Only teched first four bosses, barely scored after st5, bombspammed st7. I'll try and improve on this but I got kind of distracted. :P

What. The. Hell. You 1-ALL'ed Dragon Blaze after how many hours of practice?
Oh, well, the loop will certainly be a fun challenge for us three. I look forward to it!
