Oh. That's what citcelaid meant.CIT wrote:CIT
Which stems from one my oldest internet handle name "citcelaid", which is "dialectic" spelled backwards.

I began to use "NOP" a while back.
It's actually a common instruction in many assembly languages from different architectures. Usually it means: "No instruction" and just increments the "PC" counter by two.
Here is an example for the SH-2 (Sega Saturn):

Whoop Dat Trick
I've been using BAD for as long as I can remember, which dates back to the 80's. As some of you remember, at the time (and maybe even now) "BAD" was slang for "cool" or "great" or "awesome" or "skills" or whatever. You know, like, "Awww! That's bad, man, look at that!" or "Awwwww! That dude's bad; he can do a Dragon Punch!" And then Micheal Jackson had that "I'm BAD" music video and everything...so anyway, I was like, "damn...you gotta be BAD to be up in the high scores," so ever since then I've been using it. I don't listen to Michael Jackson anymore (that shit's not heavy enough), but I still use the B to the A-D.
I don't always get first (especially in Japan), but either way if my name's up there then it's all good! If you're in Japan and you see BAD on a machine somewhere, chances are it's me. If you've ever seen it in the states, chances are that was me, too (I move a lot)...ha...
Great thread, by the way!

CPS is also the name of the arcade board Street Fighter II was originally on, before Capcom moved to the CPS2.MR_Soren wrote:A friend of mine told me that CPS was a really good Street Figher II player who went to each machine every morning to get the high score.
Anyway, I use RJC which are my initials. I also sometimes use AAA which means my score was so bad I don't want my name on it.
I've done that, especially when I do some stupid mistake I could easily have avoided.
