I hate to reply again, but since you had to make edits to add to this stupid argument, I might as well post anyway. Some people on shmups.com said that the tate ratio on PSP for Namco Museum is not accurate to the originals. I was not drawing that tate thing out of thin air. The system was not made specifically for tate and only a handful of games use it. Tate for PSP may actually be cool, but I don't feel that it's essential or the DS smasher like you make it out to be. As for DS tate, who said that it had to be for games that use the stylus? It would probably be a bit awkward with two screens, though.

Yes, the DS can get somewhat uncomfortable to hold with one hand and the stylus, but it's not like you can't place it on somthing. It's not like the stylus is hard to use for playing games while holding it either (at least not for games that don't use the buttons along with the stylus. Some parts in Goemon DS are a bit awkward).

Also, BIG, I don't really appricate how when I say stuff like "you can tell that Castlevania DS looks better than Aria of Sorrow by comparing the two" and you still go and say somthing like "oh they still look pretty much the same" instead of actually going and comparing the games. Seriously, that stuff just pisses me off. It's not hard to compare the games.

I'm not thrilled with you are make light of my examples just becuase I actually used good games that do it right as examples. You get on me for mentioning games that use the touch screen well like Ouendan or Kirby Canvus Curse, but then go and use the worst examples for DS games to try and prove that the touch screen sucks. Some of the PSP examples you had like Prince of Persia Revelations, weren't the best either. You know what, it doesn't have to work with every game, but the fact is that it does work with at least five different games in non gimmicky games and works well. BTW, I don't only play touch screen games on the DS either. There are games where I use the d-pad becuase the touch screen control isn't very good. Seriously, if you want to defend the PSP, use good examples like Ridge Racer, Wipeout Pure, Lumines, etc.
Another point to add on the stylus argument is as follows:
"Z0MG J00 CAN USE UR THUMB!"

And I totally don't think its possible for the inner quote box to hit one word per line. Its been stuck at the alternating 1-3 now for... 4 quotes or so.

There was a quote tree on the Penny Arcade forum that got so huge all you could see were horizontal lines after a while.

It's not like it'll give a perfect arcade ratio and it sounds like it may be awkward to use. Some GBA games actually have a tating feature and it worked pretty well, though it still doesn't give a perfect arcade ratio.
Riiiiiiiiiight

Tate on the PSP is just about as awkward as having to hold the DS with one hand, while using the stylus on the other.

Also, tate makes perfect sense on the PSP,since it's got a widescreen LCD.

Not quite the perfect ratio, but it works.

Of course I'm only going to speak on the games that doesn't work well with the DS,since I have zero problem with the well-designed DS games.

Remember,I own both systems, and I enjoy them both. Your opinion,on the other hand, are very one sided, since you do not own a PSP. Brand loyalty is a thing of the past...get over it.

And yes,if I were to try and defend the PSP,I'd use RR,WO:P,and Lumines as examples.

Wow, you just know that both systems are doing pretty damn well when there's actually people bickering about which portable is better. This time, it's a pretty close fight unlike the days of Lynx, Game Gear, GB, GBA, and TurboExpress.

The quote boxes are sweet! I have nothing left to say on the PSP vs DS debate.

You know every time you post this crap it's adding size to the database right?

Please don't - PHPBB is inefficient enough as it is.
