Maucast really killed it with Viper Phase 1 over the past few months as well, it was awesome to see his progress on the game especially over a relatively short period. And I always like seeing another NMK game on the monthly list

Huge score from daniil with Macross 2, it has been great to see him and other young lads take to that game across the various shmup discords. It was a lot of fun doing a competition with them during the Summer Relay a few weeks ago!

I can't believe that MauCast is still inching higher with Sengoku Ace; seriously crazy stuff! And of course, what could be better than a new record in Black Shart?

So, not sure if Crimzon Clover will be covered? It was originally doujin, but has arcade (NESiCAxLive) release which is what we play!~

If the versions are identical I don't see a reason why not to include the game. Probably I'll include it in next month's update, since I'd have to add it as a new developer.

Don't know if anyone cares, but I've updated the second main post/addendum. Which was the World Record scores present in this thread, and also a small leaderboard for total number of records held.

WR Scores
Last time I've edited the World Records scores was in May 2023, so that's finally been brought up-to-date. Which in this case just meant adding PEG's Dangun Feveron score and having to remove Moglar's Ketsui score.
Sorry EC, if I'd updated it more regularly I would've added your WR to the addendum before it got robbed.

Community leaderboard
The leaderboard I've removed out of the second post and just put it at the top of the OP. I don't think anyone knew it even existed when it was buried all the way down.

Also another reason to add it to the top is another small, but hopefully to some meaningful, addition to give people a bit of motivation to go beat these scores. When I posted the thread originally a few years ago, it seemed like it was well-received. And I think most people understood it like the way I'd intended it. Like one of those leaderboards or walls they'd have at local arcade where they'd have all the games listed and the highest score achieved in that arcade. With everyone who attended that arcade competing together. So usually just between dedicated friends, but also some people who'd pass by.

Hopefully adding this leaderboard to the top will fuel a bit more competition. If you see a score that you think you could beat, then do it.
