Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

All this Cave love for iPhone frankly pisses me off.

We can't get a US (or at least region-free) release of DDPDFK on console, but Cave is gonna take the time to port to iPhone?

I don't see the logic.

OK, maybe digital distribution is more fiscally viable - so then let customers outside of Japan DOWNLOAD the games.

Even an Android port would be better than nothing....but just barely.

I've played Espgaluda on an iPad...it was cool enough to make me jealous, but not much because I can play it with a stick on my 360 anytime.

DDP is another story....

Yeah let's all bitch about games not released in our region which we can't play because we're too cheap to import a console or mod a domestic one.

Well I would mod my PAL 360 if there was a easy way. I got no choice but JTAG which cannot be done on the later models.

And noone is willing to ship to this country.... due to good reasons

also yes I am only talking about region locked titles

I do won Mushihime Sama Futari and ESPGALUDA II and I had to wait 5 months till they decided to leave the customs office then when I got them, I received it with factory seal broken and the mailman probably opened it up to check what was inside due to the package being ripped open and resealed with duct tape...

Postal Services are evil in this country.

They need to make money. It's easy for them to port, and they have multiple development teams. It's really not all that complicated.

The sense of entitlement that people have anymore is frightening.

I think most are burned b/c DFK is coming to "i" devices FIRST.

It's kinda like if SF4 or SSF4 (or insert any random arcade or major title) came to "i" devices or the DS/PSP First. It's kinda like.... great, still waiting.

But it isn't full-fat DFK, nor BL. It's DFK-Lite.

So you can not give a fuck but I can't "not give a fuck" either.... get over it. It's fun to hate on this. I haven't hated on much... the only other thing I can think of is Trigger Heart, Strike Witches mights be taking it's place.

Playing cave games on a i phone is stupid to me.... feel free to for it not to be stupid to you. I was pissed at the PS2 Ketsui port be canceled yet the DS one popping up instead at the time also.

Have fun with DFK light. I'll hope for a wii port with motion controls for you to.

REGION FREE! REGION FREE!
woops I mean
360 PORT! 360 PORT!

Let Cave-world explore this new avenue without all the bitching. I'm personally excited for this new game, I'm away from home for the most part and its nice to be able to play a well done shmup on my phone.

There might be a DDPDFK BL 360 port, so just simmer down ffs

It's possible to have legitimate complaints, and there's nothing wrong with expressing a negative opinion. Some of you are depressingly nerdy, smug guys.

There's a difference between a negative opinion and telling people they are stupid for enjoying iPhone games.

I'm seriously considered buying a Ipod touch for this.
But for dfk and esp 2 you need a 3dr gen Ipod. And only the 32/64gb version!

I don't recall calling anyone stupid...

Look I'll admit I could be viewed as a douche if you are for this. If you're for it then have at it. I RARELY slander games on here or pile on the hate. I have freely ragged on Trigger Heart (especially when they released it on PS2 at a stupid price) and now Strike Witches... but I let myself do that without guilt.

I try to be objective on most things but somethings I'd just be lying to myself if I just didn't admit my total lack of excitement or sometimes negative view on it. Cave games on tiny screens with forced touch controls just do nothing for me. If it makes them a ton of cash and keeps them giving me what I want then great. But that doesn't mean I don't give a shit about playing them that way.

When it's time to take a dumb I go to the toilet, this Cave i phone port thread is this forums toilet to me.... along with the Deathsmiles localization and region free thread.... well that and the "update on my game's shipping info" thread. I'm not often a free shitter, but yeah I'll blow up this toilet and not even feel bad. If your feelings were hurt over it... I dunno, have a sense of humor about it. I'm allowed to be crotchety sometimes.

I doubt anyone's feeling were hurt, I just think there are a few people who are for it who have been told over and over on this thread that they obviously aren't real gamers because they enjoy phone games which is bullshit. I'm certain every single person who has commented would rather see it on 360 (I'd rather even see it on a PC but hey) but we all know it'll come in time and when it does we can all blow our collective loads. Until then this will serve as a nice little preview for those of us who have the devices already and will hopefully kill some time on the train better than Peggle or FaceFuck.

If you don't like it, you don't like it. You've mentioned it once or twice now.

And you must have the runs my friend because if this thread's a toilet, your shitting all over it!! ;)

I think what some people are trying to say is this: In many cave threads people complained about regionalization and talked about shipping info, etc. So a new thread was made for it. So maybe all the hate for this port can be saved for a separate thread. By now, everything negative has pretty much been said. No sense in beating a dead horse. Time to move on.

That's the impression I got. :)

Even with a exorbitant fees schedule on your plan, phones aren't nearly that expensive. Not even to buy outright without a plan.
