I agree with Bcass, and as I am merely the coordinator of the TDE project, I am at the whim of the donators.

I would be eager to hear what the generous people that helped complete the TDE project think about what gets done next.

I don't know if my posts can be of any help to anyone, but again, since I failed to be here when TDE started, I at least want to offer any bit of info I can :)
Got into another exchange with IQ_132, and:
1. if we get dumps of CAVE games for PGM hardware, he can work out how to add them to FBA (and quite possibly Nebula will follow suit)
2. there is a (SLIGHT!) chance that their decrypter, once receiving the board and testing on it, might work out how to black box the code on it. Read: at the worst we get KetsuPachi Bee Storm (no bullets, crashes at random), at best we get a hackish but working ketsui
3. if we get a working DDP2 cart, the aforementioned decrypter will return the cart along with the ARM7 dump. Read: DDP2 emulated in full
4. with DDP2's arm, there is a chance of improving other CAVE PGM games

So yes, going ahead and looking for a new dumper could yeld very interesting results, even more so if that ketsui board can find its way back to Japan!

Why dont Cave release a resonably priced 10 in 1 pcb before the bootleggers get there first and clean up.

Makes sense to me cause the multi boots are gonna come in time.

Original boards still have value regardless of bootleg PCs running shoddy MAME emulations of the originals.

Heh heh, I was originally thinking, "Ibara actually got CAVE money?", but now I realize it'd be a sort of "Can open worms everywhere" situation.

Nice idea. This could come in two formats- an arcade version which would accept coins but have a typical PCB price, as well as a home-use only version (free play only) that would cost a few hundred instead. Of course, the collectors would prefer to have the original PCBs- so this would open the games up for those who wish to just play them.
Kinect? KIN NOT.
