I'm just laughing at you that it's the end of the world...

(Oh my, they wanted me to delete my collection...)

You started a poll for what? Just having sucking PMs or posts? Assume that you're not alone in this forum and it's not a blog!

Ken, don't you have a trading thread to bump or something? I think you're out of your league.

And like that, he's gone.

Thread turned out to be useful after all.

No, that's the comparison made by Ceph (and I think it's pretty well chosen for skykid's behavior...)

Actually, Skykid's real cock is gigantic. I tripped over it twice at the recent London Shmup'eet, and it got all tangled around the queue for Street Fighter IV at Battle Of Destiny.

Seeing as this isn't locked (yet), and it relates to the previous topic, I'd have to say that Violent Ken is actuallyright.*

But it's probably one time only. Quit spamming, Violent Ken.

Skykid, I finally take a look at your collection. One work "WOW".

But if you still need to work for your living, I would say you are a fool.

Since all the money you spent there may already be enough for your retirement. You are just making yourself a slave of your collection.

slave to a collection huh?

i would find this true if that if he couldn't find any true happiness from his hobby unless he was able to "collect it ALL" pokemon style. if you see people with something you don't have, and aren't genuinely interested because you are blinded by your own jealousy.

most collectors i know are a walking encyclopedia of information around whatever they collect. don't think of it as amassing some genre of item, rather knowledge.

in that light, Skykid appears to be INSANELY knowledgeable about video games. taking that this is a video game forum, good conversation is sparked and fueled by knowledge in video games.

look at all this and Skykid is exactly what video game forums need as their user base. 8)

Yeah, can't we just get back to bitching about Ken? Surely that's something we can all get behind.

Very cathartic, too.

firstly, i will say again that we could have a gallery sub-section like many many other forums, and users each start their own thread. but it was interesting nonetheless seeing people reveal just quite how small they are. but the jihadists should note that it's not impossible to redeem some man-points: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... ic+apology

I thought it was called an "e-penis" when it came to perceived on-line bragging about things like post counts, pictures of what you own or did, etc. I say this only because if you start reading this thread on the wrong page, you'd think Skykid was posting very different, NSFW imagery.

If you think you can get away with "I hope you're sick" then you're sorely mistaken. Do I deserve to be sick because I feel bad about seeing some guy having stacks and stacks of money sitting there, going to waste? First of all, look at my join date. I don't need to "find" another forum, one that lacks pictures (of gay anime characters that nobody here has heard of/Japanese games which you can't even play but you need to purchase regardless because of GLORIOUS NIPPON). Second of all, I most certainly don't deserve to be sick.

The fact that you removed your collection immediately after my comment proves you're an insecure faggot who, deep down, knows he shouldn't be bragging about overpriced anime figures/unpopular *BUT JAPANESE OMG* games and shouldn't be striving for attention online because you wouldn't get it anywhere else. Maybe your mother might be interested, go up stairs and ask.

I pecked away at elf's comment because it tried to be an insult but failed. I guess "stop posting how much useless shit you collect you freak" would work but it isn't detailed enough, and I get ratted on all the time for being too direct and not explaining myself properly. Tell me, what do I need to do to convince sunless UK-chan with a big breasted Asian avatar that posting half-naked underage anime figurines along with stacks of un-resellable games is a bad idea?

You're really doing yourself a disservice by proving to everyone on a worldwide Internet forum how few responsibilities you hold.

Jeese, look at all this friendly fire. To think there would be more than one fetishistic WAPsberger on a forum about 2d arcade shooting gamz from nihon. Saying that (and ignoring the "waaaaaaaaa look wat yuo made me dooooo" false flag hunger strike altogher) I don't really think we're deserving of a high five or anything for pointing this out, and the WAPsbergers (seriously, urban dictionary that shit right now) largely coagulated by themselves. The people with a taste were quiet and uneffected while the ones with an obsessive perversion got all huffy and puffy on their otaku high horses with the fuck-pillow saddles (or maybe hoping the call to arms would reveal strength in numbers (not a bad bet considering the subject matter of the forum) to provide some level of immunity). And to be clear, since my ironic way of confronting anti-otaku-depersonalization sometimes leads to being called a racist, I will say that I think asians are cute and all, but it never reaches the point where I Gotta Catch 'Em All in forum avatars, sigs, figurines, comics, movies, games, RL, etc.

tell me one that is a potion, why:

- collecting games, a hobby that is fun, should be whined at? (none the less need to be justified by monetary gain of any sort)
- your opinion should matter to Skykid none the less anyone else, especially when presented in lesser form than that found on an elementary school playground?

the truth is that the majority of hobbies aren't monetary gains but rather losses. what is important is the enjoyment of the action, heck, enjoying yourself could be considered an art form within itself. i know plenty of people that act like they have no idea what fun is. should i add you to the list?

and you, bottled one, are doing no one a service by writing internet trash.

all your whining comes off as is you being jealous and insecure in whatever _your_ situation is.

It's funny actually, that even when Bay puts paid to this entire, pointless debate, by outlining exactly how how ridiculous this 'anti-gaming' tirade is on a gaming forum, that still it won't sink in.

Perhaps there's a blindness there that won't go away.

And for Violent Ken and LGB (I know you mentioned it dude) how can I be spamming the forum?

The collection thread was created months ago, the poll thread is brand new.

That's not called spamming, that's posting.

Just for the record, all this drama has nothing to do with Skykid's collection. It has everything to do with one or more characters getting jealous of a guy who has posted a pic of a fairly hot girlfriend.

Its actually that simple.

Skykid is a down to Earth, safe guy. If you're not wishing him well, you're wishing him ill. I have a short fuse for jealous people in this life. Envy/jealousy = a bad sin.

The funny thing (to me) is; had there been no pic of girlfriend, there would have been no drama. Other members like Neverland and Dave_K have more impressive arcade collections anyway.

As for accusations of Skykid bragging  , on a shoot'em up high score site  . Think about it..."I can score higher than you" is the ethos of the site
Or did you forget that we're about to enter the 3rd year of competition?
Skykid scored higher on the girlfriend stakes than some socially inept people on this site. They just need to handle it.
