Red Fender Jazzmaster from mid 90's.
In very good shape, with only a few dents and wear on the neck.
All original hardware except im having the tone pots professionally replaced.

Two soapbar single coils. Mild/slim neck. Swich to go betweein running standard coil configurations at the bottom tone/volume knobs, or through a separate dual humbucker-esque set of controls on top.

Black hardshell case with red fur interior included.

Wow, $300 for a Jazzmaster is a steal.

Same for the Les Paul amps as Pa has found out. Definitely the best 5 watter out there now that Gibson has lowered the price.

Gear that I want and will hopefully have in a couple months -

- Hipshot B-bender for my Telecaster w/G to A palm lever and E to D switch
- Filtertron pickups for Hello Kitty strat and maybe the Tele
- Marshall JCM2000 DSL 50 head. It's nice, but not bourgeoisie.
- Celestion 25w speakers for my 2x12 Bassman cab

Can I use the effects loop send on the Marshall for recording, i.e. connect that to the line in on my computer without hurting anything?

Here's my 1992 Fender Precision Bass USA:

Image

I absolutely adore it, but I feel it's time to let go. Haven't been in a band for... oh... 10 years, and I only play it about once or twice a year at this point. :?

What's the most important thing to remember when selling a bass? Anybody have some advice? ^^

I'm waiting on a Paul Cochrane Timmy to go right next to the purple Gypsy fuzz.

The Grza brought over his Tweed Deluxe that he built from a kit today:

And I guess I forgot to post it here but I sold that silly Chiquita at a massive profit and took most of the proceeds and got me a Tiny Terror:

Complete with tote of pimp:

It's insanely loud even at 7 watts. The distortion isn't as smooth and warm as that Gibson 5 watter but I do like it and already have it lined up for rent.

Did he change the ground switch to a standby, or actually use a 2 prong plug

My paw inherited a 5e3 Deluxe, I'll post pics sometime.

The tiny terrors are hot. The distortion might be better in the 15 watt mode

I scored such a sweet fookin' deal on these pedals that I thought it'd post it here:

$50 and my DL4. This is a day of win.

Nope it's just a ground switch. He built it as instructed. He'll tinker with it later.

But how would I know right? Anyway, it is different. Still not quite as good as the Gibson though.

nice electro-harmonix pedals 8)

quick question. i'm looking to get a new envelope filter (already have a mu-tron III and a DOD FX-25B), any recommendations...? the mu-tron is quite thick enough, and the DOD has too quick a response on my passive basses.

Finally made up my mind and Bought the Sparrow Twangmaster Pro.

Very happy with this guitar. The Build Quality is just incredible. But what else could you expect from Canadian made gear :p

Telecasters are awesome. The Empress looks like a great delay, but as far as delay goes I've never gotten past the kind of goofing around exhibited in the video to using it in an actual song

Image

I'd love one of these. It's just a Big Muff inside but I'm a fan of communism

Why are there only tshirts for the Soviet Union and not any other communist countries, by the way (maybe this is just a local trend)?

get a Yugoslavia Shirt! BOOM

Looks like the Sovtek Green Big Muff with some custom art overtop? CP Overlay for pedals?

I currently building that same Russian Big Muff. Wish I could find one of those crazy big man switches for it! Although it probably wouldn't be true bypass.

I'm really into Shoegaze that flirts with noise, so delay is pretty key for me. my Boss PS-2 hasn't done a very good job of filling this need, and now seems to like to make scratchy static noises and random delay times on each loop.

My girlfriend just bought me a Big Muff (New York re-issue, nothing special). Wanted one for years. I'm surprised by how dynamic the thing is. Playing through two channels of distortion I managed to make this horrible bass note sustain pretty much indefinitely. Very exciting. Through a delay pedal, it was even more exciting. It should be good for both grindcore and shoegaze. My ears are still ringing :D

@PaCrappa: The term shoegaze is a appropriation of a derogatory term spawned by various music magazines at the time. Basically, you can't dance to it, you can't sing to it, and there certainly isn't an arresting stage presence, so you stare at your feet and zone out. Usually I hate these specific genre terms, but this one is pretty endearing.

I bought it originally because it was cheap and I knew I could sell it for a profit...I'm a bastard I know but I need the money, and I told the shop beforehand what it was worth...the 3-saddle bridge is a must-have though. It sounds so much better. I'm going to buy one for my Tele with angled saddles for better intonation, like

this

here is the cab I want, amp purchase is coming as well. I'm thinking 50watt JCM2000 at this point (about the same price as a 100, but cheaper to retube). With any luck, the whole she-bang will cost me under a grand. The 60w Orange cab is also the best thing ever as the thought of lugging around and storing one of those Marshall 4x12's is frightening.

Gonna post a song or two in the 'albums' thread once I get vocals recorded, in a day or two.

There's just not enough metal guitarage in this thread!!

Here are two of my favourites:

Black Machine, 8 String Baritone (30" scale length). My absolute pride and joy, a simply amazing guitar built by an extremely talented luthier:

Image

Ibanez Jem 77VDY. Not my faveourite Jem, but definitely the Ibanez guitar with the best neck - super thin and fast:

Thanks! Snagged it from a friend for $10. :D I think it sounds a little juicier than the FX25B...I dunno. Almost all of the old DOD circuits are analog, cheap and killer.

barmskii brought the metal. Nice Jem!
