what is this page? My japanese is as good as my arabic, but I see MSX and XEXEX written at the bottom of the screen.
Anyone can understand what's written at the table in the bottom ?

I think it's just their way to explain where they took the weaponry from, in particular:Shatterhand wrote:http://www.konami.jp/am/otome/enquete/index.html

Napalm Missile, Reflex Ring, Fire Blaster, Up Laser and Down Laser from Gradius 2 MSX
Homing Laser and Shadow Laser from Xexex.
So much fan-service and little cyber maidens... Brings almost a tear to my eyes.

Shatterhand: those are the results for the weapon questionnaire.
First place weapons (Napalm Missile, 3-Way, and Shadow Laser) will be in the game. Second-place weapons may be added to the game, but it is not decided yet.
The table at the bottom is the same as the weapon information given in my earlier post.

Gotcha. I think this would work really well on the Wii.Deets wrote:Cultural misperception.dave4shmups wrote:OT, do Japanese men just not find most Japanese women to be attractive? How come they're always putting hot white gals in their games??

you have a control pad that moves your ship and a button for shooting nad another for bombs/power ups. or if your really feeling adventurous you could use the classic controller or a gamecube one.Exactly how would this work well on the Wii? I think it would be just as fine on PS2.
it might be totally doable on PS2 but I know the wii could deffinately handle the game, it's stronger than a PS2 after all. plus the wii is selling to folks who don't care about visuals or simpler style play (generally speaking anyway). i think it'd have a better chance on a newer console that doesn't have a billion titles to chose from. it'd be an easier sell.
but honestly i don't care as long as it gets a port.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
Fun fact: This isn't a Parodius game and never was.

The whole "point where you want to lay bombs" aspect definately fits the bill of Wii remote usage. That, and you play the remote tilted to it's side when controlling the craft. Also, Wii's user base...Dave_K. wrote:Exactly how would this work well on the Wii? I think it would be just as fine on PS2.dave4shmups wrote: Gotcha. I think this would work really well on the Wii.

What hardware is Otomedius running on anyway? If it's the equivalent of a PS2 then it should get a port to Wii.sfried wrote:The whole "point where you want to lay bombs" aspect definately fits the bill of Wii remote usage. This is the new Nintendo, people. This isn't 80's "Yamauchi-sama" Nintendo anymore. Go double-entrende/inuendo Peach and Daisy jokes. Oh, and that witch touching game. Let's not forget the uncensored version of Yggdra Union for GBA...for the US version.shoe-sama wrote:lol censors to the maxZeetherKID77 wrote:port to Wii
Semi-OT, but Konami just announced they're doing Busou Shinki action figures of the Otomedius girls. They don't look that great to me. Those penguins are awesome, tho.

Trek trough the Galaxy on silver wings and play football online.
What, you live in Japan and a humpable boobpillow shocks you? That isn´t even nearly as creepy as those "real dolls" with changeable mouth pieces. I´ve seen a documentary on YouTube and one guy had his whole appartement full of them, including dismembered ones for "spare parts". HOORAY FOR UNCANNY VALLEY!GaijinPunch wrote: What...
