Arrgggh

Actually, I've got an 80 million score (think I did it during the "get a cheap 1CC at DOJ" craze a while back) which I'll post when I get my PS2 up and running again :D

How about:
The parts that are harder in white label weren't a problem until I played BL.

Got to the last boss w/ no remains and only two bombs. Died quickly.

One thing I've noticed, I think the hit detection returns quicker after a bomb in vanilla. I'd need to fire up BL again to confirm.

i'm not sure on that one. the difficulty between the two version, and the two loops, is only marginal. i've been flip-flopping between both versions for maybe 18 months, and if you're dying here and there and using bombs, you're not getting the full rank of either version. maybe you just used a lot of hypers in stage 5 on that run? i've been playing total shit the last couple of days... i'm trying to go for a full chain through stage 5 :o

I've no-missed up to stage 4 on both. Even if I bomb on the stage 3 boss, the rank on stage 4 is seems way higher to me. Stage 5 not bad, b/c I"ve died a couple of times.

started playing doj after a long break today.
best run for now endet with 140 mil at hibachi.
if there was no broken chain in stage 2, only a 500 hit combo at stage 4 boss and a lame stage 5 chain this run could allready be a 200 mil run.
4 day's holiday left.
let's see if i can break my old score in that time.

Wow, that's an awesome improvement! I got this game a few days ago, but I suck too hard, that I could post some scores. :D

Plasmo - 411,259,390 - A-E - 1-5 - 2297 Hit

Stupidly messed up the bit with the last bee (which is usually no problem) Could've beaten CLA's score easily... Oh and I didn't reach the loop, because I died on the 1-5 boss and he had NO energy left.
What a frustrating, yet awesome game. :)

Plasmo - 437,315,450 - A-E - 1-5 - 2314 Hit

Did a perfect (for me) Stage 1, 2 and 5 chain-wise so that's close to my theoretical max. I didn't reach the loop because i had to do a TRIPLE (!!!) suicide on the stage 4 boss in order to start Stage 5 with 3 hypers. My chain in stage 5 was 2238, the 2314c is from stage 2.
Replay recorded!
If there's any interest I could try to capture it and upload it somewhere.

Oh and I finally beat CLA, yay. :)

No, you just need a TV and a JP PS2. I'm talking about the PS2 port.

No Japanese PS2, or modded PS2. Look up Swap Magic on this forum and all will be explained.

EDIT:Skill
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.

Okay, novice coming through!
This will be my first hi score post ever. I wouldn't otherwise post this score but chances are good it will be my only chance to be in the top twenty. On that note, sorry Acid King!
All default settings (except for button mapping, of course), no machine auto-fire used (although I know this isn't TG), first credit only.
