Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
I remember the Black Label Stutter fiasco back last year, most will say don't worry about it. I just finally got Black Label last week and I'm lovin it, installed on a 4GB flash drive I've not experienced any stutter with any of the modes.

Wait, is there any way to get the Black Label DLC with an NTSC Xbox?
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
Yes, it's available on all marketplaces.
And the issue is a rare half a second delay not a constant stutter. Black Label is definitely worth it.

Whoa, it's even in the US Marketplace? Odd. Convenient, though!Taylor wrote:Yes, it's available on all marketplaces.

Yep, it's under the engrish-y name "Mushihimesama-Hutari Black Lavel" thoughpostmanmanman wrote:Whoa, it's even in the US Marketplace? Odd. Convenient, though!Taylor wrote:Yes, it's available on all marketplaces.

I had the problem for a weekSoldato J wrote:Ah shit, gonna skip it for now then, don't have and don't want any stutter issues.
I deleted and reinstalled and now I play Black Label all the time stutter free.
It was really random.

I still have the damn stutter occasionally and I find it annoying that they didn't even bother to patch the problem. Would still definately recommend BL though as I find it to be the most enjoyable way to play both Original and Maniac.

God mode is tits. It's one of the best reasons to buy the DLC. I can't get past level 3 but the journey there is thoroughly satisfying.

Maybe I'll finally pick up the BL DLC tonight.

You should Square King, it's worth it alone for the color swaps!

It's very easy to unlock the 1.01 content using a JTAG 360 without having a code.njiska wrote:No, Non, Nein, Iie, Nej. There is no legitimate way to unlock the 1.01 content aside from the code available with all LEs and first print run SEs. 1.01 is only available thru this card? You can't just pay with MS points and download it ????
No other way to unlock except this first print card?? Surely there is another way!
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
IMO, it's not worth going out of you way for 1.01
It was nice to mess with, but it doesn't get nearly as much play time as 1.5 and BL when I pop it in.

It's laughable really. It's practically just a text file with with the string "Version1.01" in it. The only reason the download is 56KB is because it's packed into some generic Microsoft file container. The actual size of the string file is 11 bytes.
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
I just downloaded v1.01 and I'm loving it. It plays like 1.5 but with more bullets and diff patterns. It's pretty nasty!
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
1.01 Maniac is baller. I don't even play 1.5 Maniac because 1.01 is so much better.

That's because it is on the disc and the text file must be a key to unlock it, wich really sucks and should've been unlocked in this platinum release. I don't get it why Cave hasn't done it or at least release it as DLC.bcass wrote:It's laughable really. It's practically just a text file with with the string "Version1.01" in it. IMO they're going to do the same with DFK and ver 1.51.
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
Yeah, I knew it was just an unlock key. Only silly people (earlier in the thread) thought the tiny download contained the actual game code for 1.01. It's fairly common practice, especially amongst Japanese devs.
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
So I started playing this on a huge Samsung HD, I don't have HDMI cables but w/e. It looks nice. I figured I would play better being able to see more but it seems just the opposite. Do you think its overwhleming playing a game like this on a big TV, I think its at least 50 some inches. Anyway I was just making really stupid mistakes, and I did much better on my small TV.

Distance from the screen matters, a lot. I find I play much, much better when I have a modest-sized (19"-25") display sitting right in front of me tilted upwards, as it would be in a candy cab. Sitting more than 3 or 4 feet away from the screen is just disorienting and my play suffers as a result.

I play (more) poorly on my plasma simply because my recliner leads me to believe I can relax.StarCreator wrote:Distance from the screen matters, a lot. To those still experiencing the Black Label stutter... have you tried playing while not connected to Live? I noticed last night that when I wasn't connected to Live, the game was stutter free.. but if I reconnected I would get a stutter once roughly every 2 levels of play.

Easiest thing is to go on the xbox homepage, log in and search for: "black lavel"Zeron wrote:peace4myheart wrote:I finally got a copy and wanted to download Black Label today, but I can't seem to find it anywhere??? Has it been pulled from the US XBOX marketplace??? =(

Thank you. I went online and that was indeed the easiest way. Afterward, I did go look through the marketplace on XBOX Live to see if I can search for it and it was like Zeron said, the last entry, all in Japanese. =/ Thanx Zeron and Drachenherz. On a disc game you should be able to bring up a details screen on the dashboard instead of running it, and then select downloads to get everything that's relevant. Maybe it's changed with the new Kinect one, tho'.
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
You have to make sure you do it from under the Games Library, other wise it only gives you the option to install. But yes, this does work in the new Dash.Taylor wrote:On a disc game you should be able to bring up a details screen on the dashboard instead of running it, and then select downloads to get everything that's relevant. Is BL significantly easier than regular? Finally picked up BL and played for a few hours (love it btw) and I almost 1cc'd it!
Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (November 2009)
Original and Maniac mode are easier to clear, yes. Challenge yourself to get a good score, though. God mode is supposedly the highlight of Black Label as the premier mode. Difficult to clear but like a friendlier Ultra mode.nuskool wrote:Is BL significantly easier than regular? Finally picked up BL and played for a few hours (love it btw) and I almost 1cc'd it!
