Do you realize that this game is not being sold in retail stores outside of Japan?

Where are you seeing that? I can't find a date on my order...
I would also like to know.

I ordered mine on the 24th :/
If you go to my card, in play-asia options then you find the estimated time they ship your item. Sorry, I preorder a game to ship on the release date, and maybe they didnt hae enough copies to ship, and so I have to wait until 9th of Dec play-asia is shipping my item. Thats not fair.

^_^

I'f I'd had the money, I'd have done it. Can't wait for Wednesday >_>
don't take my comment to literally..... I am one of those douches that bought the limited edition even though I have the BL PCB sitting here to. I'll download the BL content when it comes up as well.

Overall I enjoy BL more, but I do like 1.5 as well and it's great to have all the extra features ect that are on this disc.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

The 2 copies I purchased from playasia were the regular edition. Neither of them had a round sticker on the cover.
ALL LE are guaranteed to have a DLC card. If you are expecting a LE in the mail, you have nothing to worry about.
The problem is the SE that sellers from outside Japan received.

I have a theory on this. I think Cave decided to release '2nd Print Copies' along side the 1st print copies so they could meet demand from foreiners outside Japan being that the game is region free.
Cave released all 1st print copies within Japan, & gave outside vendors such as Playasia the leftovers.
Just a theory so I could be wrong.

If it's on the disc it shouldn't need a stupid unlock code in the first place. I have a feeling there will be an update released at some point that will automatically unlock the content after Cave realise they've been silly.

No, it really wasn't. Nobody can "phone" anyone to see if it has a sticker or not.

Thank you. 46 pages later.

Ordering games over the internet from China, I understand now. Not the best idea in the World and people wonder why they have been slightly swindled. More fool them.

It's as if ordering games over the phone from one's favourite grey-importer never happened. That's a shame.

Expressing your opinion doesn't mean you need to be abusive.

The game is released and manufactured only in Japan, it's neither the consumer or the fault of the Chinese importers that the suppliers dick them out of game content that's as easy to supply as a multi-digit number.

I believe we'll see an unlock update eventually. No point in wasting good content that's already on the disc.

I wondered if that sticker might be regarding the DLC. If that's the case then it sucks that Play-Asia didn't give the ones containing the 1.01 code to the people who pre-ordered earlier. Maybe they didn't realise, and if that's the issue it's just going to be lucky dip if you get one with it or not..

Yeah, well, most people preordered it ages ago and didn't expect to miss a load of content if they didn't have a keen eye for a sticker on the box. It's easy to offer advice in hindsight.

I had pre-ordered mine from Play Asia back when they first put it up. Then just recently, I canceled it and went with NCSX. Like late last month. And I still got the DLC card.

I wonder what's up with these PA orders...

Personally, I really don't care if I get the card or not, which is a tossup because I ordered from play-asia.
I mean, its version 1.01, which I heard was not worth playing anyway.

After all this talk about P-A copies not coming with the DLC Card, i ordered from NCSX.

Whichever ships first, I'll cancel the other.

So.. good luck to me

I know this is gonna sound strange, but i have never been a fan of Cave shooters personally (casual play at the most). The reason is the emphasis on the scoring. I always played for completion and the infamous 1CC. This game has opened up a new world for me (late i know) as i enjoy the score attack alot. EspGaluda was suppose to be one of those games that were a good introduction to Cave games but fell short for me. The online component really gives it alot of replay value. This installment is awesome! Looking forward to the future of Cave titles.

Almost got 100mil on 1.5 Original mode today, I keep getting stupid deaths on the third boss. Arrange mode is surprisingly fun, I 1cced Maniac Arrange yesterday with 891mil. Seems like its very much risk/reward on maniac and ultra: using fever mode depletes all your bulletcancel counters after allowing you to get huge scores by cancelling bullets with it on. I used fever mode on Larsa in maniac, got some huge points but then had to actually dodge stuff :)

I ordered from NCSX, but I don't really care much about the DLC either; I'm really just looking forward to Ultra masochism. ULTRA MASOCHISM!

That's the spirit, Ultra masochism would be the main reason for me to purchase this game. Who cares about online stuff.

Ultra masochism is definitely what you'll get. It's astoundingly difficult.

Does anyone remember the drama over Resident Evil 5's versus mode DLC being only like 1.8 Mb, and only like 700kb or so for the PS3 version? Fans got upset and claimed they were just paying for an unlock code for content that was already on the disc.

A representative of Capcom's response (look for Sven's post) to that.
Keys are 100K or less. It is not a key. We have said in the past, it uses assets from the disc (like levels, models, audio, etc.) but the code is new and does not exist on the disc.
Futari's 1.01 DLC content is around 100kb then? Just confirming that this is most definitely an unlock key for data that's already on the disc, if so. I guess most of you had already figured that out though.

No one's that upset by this I guess? Wow, Cave has the sweetest most endearing fans in the world.

Well, at least you don't have to pay for it. Unless the Black Label mode is just an unlock as well...
I most definitely hate your favorite shooter.
For the sake of our own sanity, let's not even talk about Psikyo, Battle Garegga, or DDP DOJ with each other.
