You can always tell when Zen feels the ground crumbling from beneath his argument because that's when the animated gifs come out.
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

There haven't been any incidents for a decade and a half since the Belfast agreement satisfied Irish nationalists. What do you think would satisfy a terrorist who runs over a crowd of people without making any demands or delivering a political message?
Pay no attention to Mischief Maker. He has previous form in voicing prejudice against the Irish. Fucking racist!

*Incidents inside the England proper. Northern Ireland is another different mess entirely.

I think you'd have to almost deliberately ignore reality if you haven't realized [or read the documents proving] that the war on Syria (not a civil war) is externally run. The droughts were man-made too, by all the dams that Turkey built. It almost started a war between Syria and Turkey in 1998, but Syria chickened out because Boris Yeltsin was too "drunk" to provide any logistical support for a prolonged conflict. More than a decade later, Turkey ran guns and provided logistical support to terrorist groups to create rampages in Syria.

"There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others."

If you're saying that extreme weather events aren't a major factor in many, many migrants' decisions to leave their homelands, and moreover that the best way to figure out how to deal with it is to pretend it's not happening (well, until you can make a buck off of it, same as every other issue) and decimate the budgets of anyone who might conclude otherwise (and, once again, keep the difference for yourself while the people who elected you can fuck off), you're either ignorant as hell or deliberately delirious as quash.
I guess it has nothing to do with the Western funded color revolutions, the generous welfare they receive upon arrival to the West, the cultural war against the West that in the heads of many never ended, or the increasingly deadly power vacuums being left behind as a result of the above.

Nope, it's just a little too hot for their liking. I guess that explains why so many go to Sweden.

I don't think the 'we need guns to protect ourselves from other people with guns' argument has any merit left when not even a fucking Texan church can defend itself from some random gunman.

Oh, well. At least it wasn't one of those filthy foreigners coming in to tek er jerbs and get free education and then get benefits for them and their anchor kids. No siree, nothing like an all-American shooter using all-American bullets with an all-American gun to take the lives of his fellow God-fearing Americans. Heck, he may have even purified the town if one of them filthy foreigner illegal fence-hopping sp*cs was among the dead. A true patriot, indeed, and not a terrorist because he wasn't muslim.

Right?

The toll has reached 25 dead as of this post, including a pregnant woman and kids.

It's been announced that the Church mass shooting that took place at 11:20am in Texas with 26 people confirmed dead + an additional +20 people wounded (and not counting the dead gunman either). The gunman has been identified as Devin Patrick Kelly, age 26. Checked to see if he had a FB account and no such luck on finding it (if he had one, it's already been pulled/deleted). It turns out Devin was a former Sunday school teacher whom was ex-Air Force (that explains why he was dressed in all black tactical gear including wearing a bullet-proof vest as well). More numerous weapons were found in his SUV -- the investigation is still on-going and more breaking news/details will be released within the next 24 to 48 hours of this heartbreaking incident.

It has been reported that Devin started firing on the right side of the church and then proceeded to the left side and finally fired into the front entrance/walked inside still firing. There was a camcorder recording the church mass going on there and it so happened to capture the mass shooting incident -- law enforcement is treating it as evidence. The First Baptist Church (where the mass shooting took place) is known to post it's Youtube videos of a Sunday mass service afterwards. There were some church members whom escaped unharmed but they haven't been identified/named. Meanwhile, a neighbor next door (whom hasn't been identified by authorities) heard all the gunfire and went back inside to retrieve a rifle and started shooting at the gunman whom dropped his assault rifle and left it at the scene of the crime. The gunman escapes and the neighbor pursues him on a high speed chase into the next county with an ensuing gun battle taking place. In the next county, law enforcement catch up to the gunman and it isn't clear if the gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound or if law enforcement killed him. More information as to how he died will be revealed later on.

The 26 victims haven't been identified/named until their families/next of kin have been notified, then officially released to the news media.

The governor of Texas said that today (11-5-2017) is the worst mass shooting in Texas history.

Guy who shot up a church with a rifle gets shot dead by a rifle.
Guy who ran over a crowd of people with a vehicle gets stopped by police vehicles.

Geez, are you guys beginning to see a pattern here or am I imagining things.

A person who should be filled with gratitude for being permitted to live here as a non-citizen and enjoy what America has to offer instead continues to deliver derisive, sneering, bitchy posts about Americans and their concerns. Americans are massacred at church and still with the "lol God-fearing Americans" shtick. Disgusting.

Thoughts:
1) Worst mass shooting in Texas history.
2) The good guy w/ a gun theory finally has some actual data behind it.

See, that's the entitlement I was talking about in the other thread. No one has done, sacrificed, contributed, or helped anything that in any way affects my stay here, so (outside paying my taxes) I owe them and the government's feet-dragging "Let me possibly think about maybe considering about perhaps giving time to the chance of one day delegating your request" attitude zero thanks. It has been a struggle for me, and something that I've earned for myself, not a gift that was granted to me. So, no. No "show gratitude because we allow you", please.

Sorry to make this sound personal; it's your rhetoric what I have a beef against. So please notice that my "disgusting" rhetoric is the exact same stuff you've been spreading all over this and the Trump thread, just with the foreigner/citizen roles reversed.

There is a problem with a very few Americans. Those who actually know that if they shoot up a town and don't mind dying there is ABSOLUTELY nothing anyone can do about it.

There's countless instances of someone with a gun cutting gun violence short. Do some cursory research on the subject before speaking on it.

Reminds me of "another day, another dollar" and "more guns = safer people". Such pearls of wisdom. Oh well I'm sure it'll work itself out *eventually* - let's hope but in the meantime we'll have to listen to how guns make us all so much safer from fanboys such as Rob and Rancy. Makes sense I suppose if you need to hunt and live in the outbacks but hardly relevant if you live in down town Detroit - or maybe you would need a gun - sounds a bit like a vicious-circle but I'm sure you'll work it out. And let's thank the Lord for national borders, and whilst we're at it let's thank the Lord for great swathes of ocean protecting us all from the "more guns = safer people" crowd whilst we're at it.

There are countless instances of someone at a cream pie throwing competition curtailing cream pie violence. There are lots of instances of people who own a pair of boobies seriously curtailing booby violence too. And in fact, I think if we all work so much harder together as a community we can resolve the toilet seat issue too. In fact, if we mix guns, toilet seats, boobies and perhaps jam sandwhiches we may in fact be able to solve all these problems and many more all at the same time! That would be amazing, I say that we should all worship the gun this instant and behold its true meaning, blast off to space, set up colonies, grow lots of synthetic humans and erect great monuments made entirely of ice cream in the shape of guns and all get on down and worship 'the GUN' as it'll make us all so much happier, sexy and well you know - *safer*.

I can't believe this thread has done the mileage its done. Is it because the Americnas amongst us are defending their right to bear arms or because there is just another incident making the news?

I had a dream the other week about a movie script. It was to be called "Assembly" where gun mongering civilians from all over the world would hold a competition in a Texan hill billy town taking it over and shooting each other. The last person standing won a billion dollars. On the plus side, anyone who didn't mind dying wouldn't harm any civilians if enough "shoot em up advance warning" was given.

It would be better than Walking dead s08E02, where 50+ people were shooting each other from 20 feet with 8000 rounds of machine gun bullets and hitting nobody.

In one of your posts, you once mentioned to me that you had experienced abusive/racist treatment in other forums? Do you honestly not see how your own post is showing a state of mind that you profess to detest?

You have a marvellously subjective interpretation of what your "fellow humans", as you say, "permit". A quick glace above the parapet of your comfort zone might prove enlightening?

So, Rob, you might be going for a new personal best this time. Lets see now;
