Very disappointed. :(
Damn, if the date is any indication I'm out of luck. I ordered it right after I read the kotaku article about the game being region free, it was end of September I think. I also took the cheapest shipping, we'll see how long it takes to Finland. Play-asia is in HK right? Usually even the cheapest shipping from HK has been quite fast, but I'm not expecting it until end of next week.

The big benefit of using cheap shipping is not having to pay import tax though, so it's either pay around £20 on the door, or sit around for ages waiting for it to come.
Thats not true, I've used the cheap shipping option before and have had to pay import tax and Royal Mail's handling fee.

Mine came in this afternoon, came with the DLC card (preorder 9/30). BTW the install size to Hdd is 815MB (must have been padded due to its small size). Enjoying this!

Oh noes :(

Still, UPS charge me import tax 100%, but I've ordered maybe 10 cheap jiffy bags with no problems. I think it starts to get problematic when you order larger packages, which is why I try to order my stuff in drips and drabs.

Someone has already mentioned that they preodered from P-A on 10/19 and DID receive the DLC Card.
I just happened to be one of the unlucky few.
You still have a shot in getting the card! Good Luck! :)

Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Just got a call from my girlfriend that my LE is waiting for me back at home.

I have a friend at work that's picking it up too, and we plan to play some online together. Does online support voice chat?

not sure if it does as a menu feature in-game but you could easily group into a party and chat in-game

I preordered my LE from ncsx on 9/28. My order status is still sitting at "order received". I guess they never got the rest of their LE order.

I don't like the waiting game.

I read your blog regarding this but I'm still not convinced.. most reviews I've read about HMV are severly unfavorable. Why them? You could probably get it cheaper if you used NCSX or Yes-Asia.
HMV beat NCSX and Play-Asia both in shipping a single game via EMS. Yes-Asia's really slow so I can't recommend them. I'd just use Play-Asia but I've been having a bunch of trouble with thmem and value wise it isn't really worth buying from them unless you're using coupons.

Yeah. I ordered 9/29, and called NCSX today, since $117 vanished from my account, but I got no notification of shipping. It was kind of funny, really. The conversation went like this:

'Hello, NCS.'
'Hi, I ordered something 2 months ago, and I wondered if I may check its status?'
'May I have your name?'

I stated my name, and my instant reply was 'It will ship on Monday.'

It almost freaked me out, since she answered instantly, with no time to look my name or order up

But yeah, yours will likely ship tomorrow or Monday.

I don't see why it wouldn't. That sounds like fun, really.

So if my copy from P-A doesn't include the DLC card, can I still pay to download 1.01?

I don't see how they're even getting copies without the DLC card, unless they're unsealing and resealing the game. It's supposed to be included for every first print run copy of the game, and it's tucked behind the manual inside the case, not just attached somewhere.

Make sure you check behind the game manual for the DLC card for those who say they have not received one.

I'll try them out then. Play-Asia won't accept my credit card.

I received a package notification from UPS, but no billing/shipping note from NCSX. It doesn't say who it's from (just generic tracking info), but based on the departure scan location it has to be NCSX.

I'm curious if they're sending my entire order or just part (I also ordered Mamoru-kun and IIDX 16). Mostly because I just realized the credit card I gave them expires on Monday. DOH.

This game is fun as hell. I ordered from NCSX and got it this morning. Of course, I live in northern NJ so I'm really close to them.

Easily 1CC'ed the novice arrange Original and Maniac modes; these were just challenging enough to be non-boring, with my non-expert skills.

Tons of display and game mode options, looks fantastic in Xbox mode on my roommate's HD tv. Plays surprisingly well even with the craptastic xbox controller d-pad.

Very happy that this is region free, where do we email Cave to say "Thanks, I've never been able to order one of your console ports before, but this time I could, and I will continue to do so." Stoked for Ketsui especially!

I can no miss no bomb the first stage in Original now and one credit to the middle of stage 3. If I could remember to bomb when necessary I'd be doing a lot better, hah.

Futari in HD with sound pumping through the surround sound system...

Orgasmic...

And I have the DLC card, and plenty of time to figure out how to cash it in.

Even if it doesn't in the game itself for some bizarre reason, you can just joing a party with your friend and chat, you can do that while playing different games too.

For anyone in NYC, I tried stopping by J&L, the place in the Elizabeth St Mall, and Videogames NY to try to score a copy for a friend. J&L said they would have it in a day or two, but they were only getting two copies, one of which was reserved; the place in the Elizabeth St Mall said they wouldn't be getting it; and Videogames NY said they would have it in a month (lol). So it's probably best to just stick to online shops.

Not surprised. M2 have a sterling track record. They seem to have real love/pride in their work, I doubt there is a consistently better commercial game emulation/translation dev currently in business...

You sign in to your Japanese Xbox Account at Xbox.com, and then click on My Account. Under it, click "redeem code".

Then you put the code in. When you next sign in on your 360, it will be downloading. It's only about 100kb, believe it or not.
