Cleared all of my goals for the year, and in Caladrius' case scored far, far higher than the target I had set for myself. I feel like 2014 was a good year for me, lots of clears and progress in the genre. Time to start thinking about my goals for 2015.

I hope so! I have far less time for gaming than I'd like, and I've been forcing myself to play through games in my backlog, so I've been working off and on to get through some of the larger games. I've been working on Xenoblade Chronicles the last 3 or 4 months, off and on. It's quite distracting when I am still picking up used games at pawn shops, Goodwill, etc., have my Wii U which I still have unplayed games for, and my wife bought me Bayonetta 2 for Christmas, so that's in rotation. However, having taken part in that shmup contest and won, somewhat handily, I feel the itch to get back to some of that this year. I may concentrate on R-Type Final first, in part because I put a lot of time into it when I first bought it, hit a wall, and never progressed further, and sort of gave up. After about a week of playing it for the competition, I got farther than I had, so I feel like if I just stuck with it, I could really finish it. That would boost my confidence enough to hopefully give me the motivation to go back to some of the other games I never played through.
