Jesus! The LE on play asia has an expected price of $89.99. That's unacceptable for me.

Yeah that's roughly what Hucast's standard website price translates to.

It's discounted by 9 Euros at the moment though: http://hucast.com/product_info.php?info ... 46df85bb02

I missed this post on the HuCast page. While the reasoning is unexpected, the delay certainly wasn't.

Hucast + Preorder =
best case scenario: after a one to two year delay you will get a buggy game
medium case scenario: the game turns out to be a total joke (hello redux!)
worst case scenario: a combination of both

have fun preordering :)

Yes, that's still cheaper than buying at present time :-)

Plus supporting a developer is not really uncommon these day, right? Kickstarter and all?

So far I have quite the fun with them. They program the Dreamcast better than I do :-)

New trailer. Honestly, much less than I expected as far as quantity, especially since the release was originally targeted for October. I guess since people complained about how tiny the trailer windows were in the past for both HC and NGDT releases, Rene felt compelled for some reason to make this one even smaller.

If you pre-order from the Huecast store, do they charge you right away or on shipping?

Sorry, Mr. Hellwig, but your game isn't going to run in HD with 16:9 borders on a Dreamcast.

There is less than 30 seconds of gameplay footage... I was really expecting a little more substantial of a trailer here. The graphics and animation look ok though, and when this finally comes out, I'll be interested to play it.

I suppose the 2-player mode was the big announcement, rather than the additional (possibly tentative) 5-month wait. Nice art, though...hope that's the cover.

Since some folks did not see it yet: Hucast is shipping again to USA, Canada and world wide. It was a big mistake to do not but now its corrected.

I hope you guys will like the new 2 player mode.

Had a pre-order for this for a few years and my address had changed. Will you be using the address at time of purchase or current update?

Also, I know it's OT, but is there any plan for a patched version/revision of Neo XYX DC in the future? I loved the game but some of those bugs (I'm thinking broken boss energy bars) were a real issue.

  • Ghost Blade => Hucast => RHE (René)
  • Neo XYX DC => NG:DEV.TEAM => THE (Timm)
People can be kind of funny about (carelessness with) "details" like that.

Fair enough. I'm aware of the distinction but I still end up confusing them regularly.
